UFS eye candy

This is a prototype I made recently, it's the beginning of a new series I am starting. I chose to make this prototype in maple burl (I know, I know... I could have chosen a wood with a little more character, but I wasn't positive it was going to work) It's a "faux" amphora. It's actually a small grain matched lidded box. I'm quite proud of this one. There will be more of these small lidded boxes in my future, probably in many different shapes but this one is the first, and I wanted to share it with y'all.

What a better way to show off a piece of art, but next to another fine piece of art Thanks for looking!

Awesome work Rick my friend! Yet another reason why I am so convinced that the GG series art attracts other artists.

Absolutely breathtaking photograph quality and that container is gorgeous. You should make one that would fir a 15ml bottle snugly inside.

Seaweedshark, it's a stubby Super T's countoured drip tip, it's my favorite! Incidentally since you mentioned the bottle thing, I checked a 30ml bottle almost fits. I'm eccentric, but that might take things to a whole new level... Friend: "what are all of those little wooden hollowforms over there for" Me: "Oh that's just my juice collection... lets see Maple burl "faux" amphora is COV Caramel tobacco..."

It's probably unlikely, but I wonder if you could make a wood drip tip, shaped like a cherry vapes ming tip or so with a groove for an O ring, I'm getting all these ideas looking at your work. Or like a custom pipe display stand, or even a cover to keep spiders from crawling into your drip tip at night lol. Love your work!

I've got a couple pieces of equipment I need to get before I can make drip tips, but they are "in the works" probably wouldn't end up being inexpensive, but sexy definitely

AH, it looks awesome, I may have to pick one up. As for the bottle that is a very snazzy thought.
