Hi everyone. :) Hi Imeo. :) How are you there? :)

I have one question and I need your help Imeo.
Can you please make some metal mouthpieces for "old" UFS/ AVSv3 and send them please to Tim and Shimon too?
I LOVE plastic mouthpiece MADLY it feels fantastic but looks like I have no choice so I would like to change it on metal one. Because I want to have my GG forever.)
I can't screw in my plastic mouthpiece all way with top o-ring anymore. I think it was my fault because I did it so many times...learning... BTW, our second UFS mouthpiece is great. I think I should not touch my UFS mouthpiece at all but it's too late. ((
Last months I use one of spare o-rings for my UFS, it's more narrow and it works perfectly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:p
But I think about future and I would like to have metal mouthpiece in soon future I mean ASAP.
Imeo, please help, hElP, HELP. Please, make some hundred different mouthpieces because I guess everyone will need it one day. :)
Our GG work perfectly!!! Perfectly! Love it! Thank you, Chief. :)
P.S. One smoking Lady tried my GGTB+iAtty today, she said it's AMAZING! I am agree with her. :D))))) I LOVE iAtty mouthpiece, Imeo. Absolutely great!

Also I would like to know just for my own statistics how many of GG Family Members have plastic mouthpieces and how many GG people have metal ones?
Thank you guys in advance. :)
I love my GG 8 months already !

I agree with Dspin ;) I have the plastic ones that came stock, but have metal on my 2 AFSv2 and on my clear and metal AVS also on my UFS. I am only in need of a metal one for my iatty now :)

Hey Brad. Love your Avatar. Her name is Gretchen and she sends her regards. You would not believe how many people have sent me requests to buy her.

Sorry to hijack the thread. Brad is a fellow GG lover and I first heard about them from him.

Thanks torque... I really liked her (Gretchen) hence why it's my avatar  II originally bought that amboyna for my own personal mod. It was tough to stick it in the mail lol but glad your enjoying it ;)

No reason we can't enjoy a fine hand crafted wood mod along with our shiney's (GG's) I'm doing a Vv with an iatty inset into it now for myself :)

I have just received one of the SS mouthpieces for the UFS, but there's a problem. With the original plastic mouthpiece, it sealed perfectly with the o-ring and made a nice seal, with a bit of slack, juice goes into the atty perfectly. However, the SS mouthpiece can't seem to screw in enough and can't touch the o-ring at all. I've even replaced the o-ring from spares I've got just in case, and it's not helping. With the mouthpiece not touching the o-ring, juice doesn't seem to get into the atty. The moment I switch back to the plastic one, it's fine.

Can't figure out if there's some slight differences between the screw thread on both mouthpieces, causing the metal one to just fall a bit short of getting a good seal.

Anybody else had this problem?

No SS mouthpiece fits like a glove on mine. Check the threads of your SS mouthpiece are OK and not damaged

I finally see a slight imperfection on the bottom of the mouthpiece, after your suggestion to check the threads. Comparing with the plastic version, I find that the bottom where the SS mouthpiece touches the o-ring is not even. It would appear that the threads has some slight imperfections and screwing in on completely is not possible. Don't know what to do with this

screw-unscrew several times the cap and the mouthpiece and it will fit jack. Maybe a small piece of metal is there, preventing the mouthpiece to screw well on the cap:)

Take a CLOSE look at the threads on the SS mouthpiece. Sometimes there's a burr on one of the threads from when it was made.....moving the mouthpiece back and forth back and forth as you screw it into place (lube the threads first) it will clean it off.

have SS and delrin, but use a 3rd party extended slug SS drip tip, because it pairs up with the Ody mouth piece styles. Originally had the delrin first, then extended slug SS drip tip (SS mouthpiece was sold out for the longest time) and got accustomed to the extended slug, then finally got the SS mouth piece to finish off my collection.

both SS and delrin fit well, but the my SS version isn't as flush to the rim of the cover as it is with the delrin version. Though both are identical.

Something popped into my head.....what size o-ring is on the bottom of the threaded portion of the SS mouthpiece?

Thanks for the quick reply, Imeo. I've tried your suggestion, and I've also taken a close look at the threads on the mouthpiece and the cap. There are no metal pieces anywhere, and I've screwed and unscrewed it hard in and out about 200 times within the last few hours. Still not helping.

However, a friend of mine who's in the metalwork industry has noticed that the thread on the mouthpiece nearest the o-ring is slightly different or longer than the one on the plastic mouthpiece. he has suggested to file down some of the thread so that it can screw in deeper. Is this a good idea?

UPDATE:
I've had the thread closest to the o-ring slowly filed down to the point that it is now sealing with the o-ring nicely. Working fine now. Thanks to all who made suggestions, and to Imeo, CaptSteve and Para for reminding me to look at the threads. That's where the problem was, and a bit of careful filing did the trick.
