Any standard diameter attys or cartos will work. I believe that the clearo's are too wide. Here is a quick rule of thumb. If the barrel is metal and a standard drip tip will fit it, it will work in the UFS. Not 801's obviously, but you know what I mean.

OK but I don't own any atomizers at all and would like to use the new UFS in full mode not Shorty mode what Atty is recommended???

Do you like LR with a big batt, SR @ 6v, or HV @ 7.4v? If you like LR, I would suggest the HH .357 long barrel. If you like 6v, I would suggest the DCA 510 from COV. If you can find 510 XL's in the resistance you like, those should work as well. All those attys are about the length of a 510 carto. Standard size 510 cartos are a great size to work with the top cap you are getting with the UFS setup for 6-7ml.

I am currently enjoying a 3 ohm 510 carto at 6v in my UFS right now. No need to punch the carto either!

The last Atty I used was a typical 510 Shorty on a stock 510 manual batts... these days I use only my iAtty at 1.5ohm wit 3.7v IMR high drains and like it best when the Batt's are pushing 4.2v.... I have yet to play with HV yet other than to burn clean my coils... I will most likely stick with 3.7v until the VV is available...

Is there a difference in diameter between regular size carts and XL carts or is it all in the length of the carts???

I am assuming you mean atomizers when you say cart, although the cartridges are longer as well. The only dimension that is different is the length of the barrel on the atty. The diameter is the same. Let me see if I can find you some links to some LR atties that would work for you in the UFS in long mode.

Carts = cartomizers looking at COV I assume regular size means short like a single coil 510 and XL means the longer version please correct me if I'm wrong....
