If you're getting juice in your mouth, it may be that you are drawing too hard. Instead of taking a hard pull as you would on a cigarette, take a slow easy draw and keep inhaling for about 3 seconds or more. What kind of e-cigarette do you have?

I agree I've found myself drawing too hard....habit, but I'm working on it. I'm using the Joye eGo.

Look at you.... powering through the challenges. Wow. Proud of you!!

Hope you're better soon. Your sunburnt-feeling lips are probably a sign you need to drink more water. Reading posts I've deduced that people with side effects from switching from cigarettes to vaping drink less water than those who have little or no side effects. I'm not a doc, just facinated by people's experiences in this new world of vaping. Hope you enjoy a big glass of water and scan the benefits: Benefit of Drinking Water

Thank you! I'm feeling better already. My gums are MUCH better. No new zits, drinking lots of water (but I always did). I've made it past the one week mark without an analog! YAY!!!!!

I am however starting to cough things up (slightly)! Every time I do, I grin!

I learn something new from every post I read here. I also have had some swelling of my gums and some mild tender spots under my tongue. 15 days analog free for me today. Congrats to you too and keep up the good work.

Bully mom waves a salute as she heads to the kitchen for a glass of water!!!!!

Congratulations bully mom!!! Sending you a salute back!

theres DEFINITELY a learning curve to vaping, but once you get it down, youll never want another analog for the rest of your life....and when somebody IS smoking around you,its just smells NASTY!!!!!
good luck with yer new hobby.

Thank you!

I 100% agree with the learning curve. I'm working through it. After passing the one week mark, I don't see myself ever smoking again (after more than 25 years). One more week until I go to my first meet! Can't wait!

i have been vaping for just less than a week. but i still have an analog and the e-cig everytime in my pocket. what i do is i light up an analog first, then take the e-cig as my second and third and fourth stick. it kind of works for me. but i am not too sure that i am ready to give up the analog. besides, i just bought my e-cig because i thought it was cool. but i would probably quit burning analogs if the e-cig could satisfy my cravings.

I know this is going to sound redundant but water water water. I had many of those symptoms and then I chugged so much water and I feel so good now. Glad you can appreciate the smell of smoke now because it had the opposite effect on me. Good luck and welcome aboard!!

Thank you everyone!

I expect that me liking the smell of someone else smoking will eventually change. I haven't smelled one in a few days so we will see.

Ah, well. I don't think we need any more hardcore anti-smoking activists. But for yourself, if you start feeling better and stop supporting Big Tobacco, it's all good. ;)
