Green Smoke got me as well.. I ordered mine 30 days ago as of today. And I already got my RAN number for a return and I called them as well to make sure I would get a full refund since I can't send it until day 31, so it's recorded that they said I can still return it for a full refund. I was a smoker of analogs at a pack a day. I use the 6mg which they say is the equivalent to a light which is what I smoked, and they said 1 cart should last approximately 1 pack worth. I ordered 20 carts and in 6 days.. I blew through 16 of them. My passthrough broke after 3 days of normal recommended use, and I have to charge my batteries atleast two to three a day getting a full charge every time. I like their flavors, that was never a problem... but I have gotten some "dead" ones that didn't work at all. After all is said and done with this rate they would be MORE expensive than analogs instead of less. My sister just got her VK-1000 yesterday in the mail.. needless to say I ordered one lastnight.. I LOVE hers when I tried it.

I just sent mine back on friday. Cant wait to get my money back. I now have a kr808d-1 from V4L and am super duper happy with it. So much so that my bf went from telling me I was sooooo stupid for buying an ecig to buying one himself last night. All that in a week! He cant stop showing me how many cigs he's not smoking! HAPPY!

I went with the green smoke basic starter kit that was $139.00 for 2 batteries, wall/usb charger, and 5 cartos, then I bought the usb passthrough which was $50.00 that broke in 3 days. Totally unsatisfied. I've wasted $275.00 with that company in 30 days. I go through 2 1/5 6 mg cartos a day which is costly. When I inhale on it I feel like I'm going to crack a rib.. it takes a lot of effort to draw off it, and only the inital inhale off a fresh battery produces good vapor. I figured you get what you pay for.. so the pricier was going to be the better choice.. NOT EVEN CLOSE. I got my sister started on vaping and she would eat sleep and breath e-cig reasearch for a couple weeks and went with the VK-1000. The draw is so effortless, theres good vapor, it's WWAAAYYYY less expensive.. almost half the cost, and I know some people complain about the hookah sound of some e-cigs but I kinda like it. I got the ultimate auto kit from V4L and I can't wait to get it. I like the metallic colors.

...I had a good discussion with the sells person about this very issue just a few minutes ago (doubt it will do much good). Green Smoke pricey - yes but do research and you will find that their $50 battery can be found at LeCig for $17, same batter as Green Smoke uses E9 aka KR808D-2 (note the 2, not a 1) LeCig Electronic Cigarette Store

I've been using the -D2 batts from LeCig for a couple months with no problems, Don't much care for their Cartos though, (vent slots=weaker hits, and the "stuffin'" don't hold much juice)
Also you can try Cixi They offer the E9 at a reasonable price but shippin' from China will eat you alive. (but for an order of $100+, free shippin') E-Liquid | Electronic Cigarette | E-Cigarette,

Here is what I learned talking on the phone with Green Smoke this morning:
First, if you don't know Green Smoke uses two companies for their cartridges. One company is based in the USA all their cartridges from the USA company have a gold ring around them. The second company is based in China, their cartridges do not have a gold ring around them. That is how you tell them apart.

I had a real problem with the tobacco flavored cartridges they changed flavor from a wonderful taste to a lousy taste - both the good and bad tasting ones were from the American company and I found out they had changed the formula trying to improve it (this wasn't the first time they changed the flavor trying to improve it either).

I also learned today that Green Smoke is ending their sells of the American made cartridges so once they sell off all the American made ones there won't be any more American made cartridges.

Honestly I did like the American ones - there one formula of Tobacco was wonderful, the best I ever had and the Tobacco M flavor was okay. They have a great Vanilla, a fair Coffee flavor and the Strawberry tasted just like Strawberry - I actually do like the American ones but their consistency and changes in formula I guess was too much for Green Smoke to keep them on.

I have tried the China Tobacco - it is pretty different, I think it will be okay for me I just have to adjust to it, we will see. The China Vanilla flavor to me tasted too much like perfume and other odd things, the China coffee flavored tasted like a mix of burnt toast and burnt coffee. I still have the Strawberry, Tobacco M and Chocolate flavors to try from the China company before making my final conclusions.

I hope that might help some folks out.

Hey emb, sorry I didn't respond to your post, still learning how (doh!) That is interesting about the Green Smoke, I knew there had to be flavours people
like for them to still be around. Sounds like the GS tobacco may taste good again :) lol re the burnt toast/coffee

They may claim that less than 1% return their orders, but I have to wonder how many repeat customers they have? I'm not sure if I'll be returning my kit. We'll see once I get my eGo, but I won't be ordering from their site again.

WOH, let us know when you get your Ego, I'm sure you'll love it, I'm a light smoker but really like mine, especially the rubberized feel of the red one I bought. I felt the chrome/metal ones would be more slippery/smudgy, and now that I think about it...cold in the winter, at least in Toronto, haha.

Whew, at first when I read that 8mg was high I was instantly scared seeing as how I just placed an order on 24mg! Thought I'd be overdosing, geesh.

Hey Seph, well it seems everyone thinks Green Smoke's 8mg "high" carts is ridiculously low, maybe they're just trying to stay safe, who knows. I'll be starting with 18mg as I only smoke a handful of cigs in the evenings, but my body is accustomed to the nic at those times I guess. Did you order all PG juice? Just curious as I seem to have a sensitivity to its taste/smell.

Hi Clover, yeah at least GS processed my refund quickly with no drama or issues whatsoever. That's a riot, your bf will think twice before he laughs at you huh? Another happily vaping couple! I'm thinking of passing my vendor source onto my family doctor for all her smokers -- would a Canadian doctor refuse to suggest it because Health Canada hasn't approved them? Would be sad that a dr would prefer people smoke carcinogens and tar! We'll see...
