I accidentally plugged my eGo-v V2 battery into my ego charger! I'm only supposed to charge through the pass-thru port, but while arguing on the telephone I absentmindedly just screwed it onto the ego charger. The instructions specifically discourage this. When I realized my mistake (two hours later) the battery indicator was completely depleted, but it seemed otherwise fine. I suppose this is reassuring, right? I'm scared now. Is this thing going to blow up in my face? The last thing I need is for a 1300mah battery to explode in my mouth.

When you use it next time, just hold it away from your face and pulse the button a few times before you put it to your mouth. If it's going to blow up or whatever, that's when it would do it.

As a matter of fact, I've gotten in the habit of doing that first time I use any battery after charging. Makes me feel better.

I am the same way. After I change the battery in my mod, I hit the button a few times away from my face and listen for the sizzle. Doesn't hurt to be safe.
