ugrading from ego-T 1000mah..suggestions?

sooo.. I'm ready for an APV,variable voltage. Any suggestions? i would love a Provari mini, but thats just not financially in the cards right now, so to speak. read some great reviews on the Vamo, let me know what you have tried and loved. i'm very new to all this but i do have a general understanding.

Hi - if you've never used variable voltage, a Twist or Spinner is a good, inexpensive way to start out. Even if you choose to get a larger APV in the future, you'll still need a back-up device. If you're looking to get right into a bigger mod, the Vamo is very popular at the moment, but there are other mods out there. I've been waiting to read some reviews from people who have gotten the T-Max, a little VV/VW box mod that's just been released.

A Twist or Spinner will give you a better experience than an eGo-T, without question.

I am sitting here with a Twist in rotation with a ProVari. It's a good device for the price.

Hi, aliecat. The Vamos and the twist/spinners are both nice upgrades. It's cool to have the ohm-checker built into the Vamo. If you do go with the Vamo, though, please make sure not to screw any heating-element down onto it too tightly. That'll lead to trouble with the little o-ring around the 510 connection. If you can afford to get one spinner or twist and one Vamo eventually, you won't have to chance it with the 510-ego adapter. But then again, others have been just fine using the adapter. If you do get a spinner/twist, you'll never regret having it as back up, even if you do move on to a different mod in time. Best of luck to you, and keep us posted!

Twists and Spinners are very similar. The Spinner is a little thicker and the dial on the bottom is easier to read, but some people feel the Twist performs better. Whichever you choose, make sure is a Joyetech Twist or Vision Spinner. I usually don't have a problem buying knock-offs, except for batteries.

Do you have an idea of what mAh you want?

I just checked and Vapors Choice has stock. They have 1000mAh and 650mAh Joyetech Twists, and 1100mAh Vision Spinners. I have bought from this vendor many times. He generally has the lowest price on Twists. I'm not sure if this coupon is still good, but it might be "vf5"

ETA: I've two 1000mAh Twists, which I really like. The size put me off at first (they are about an inch longer than the 1000mAh eGo-T), but I got over it very fast.

You can always get an eGo Twist, which is cheap and does the job. If you want something fancier there's plenty of options out there depending on your price range.

The Twist is VV (variable voltage). And you can make you devices as "girly" as you want - there's a whole thread dedicated to making stuff pretty.

Oops I meant to say mod, not vv. I didn't realize you could make it pretty. That's too cool. I've seen stickers bit I guess I was thinking of the engraved batteries I've seen. And the website you gave me is super inexpensive too. Very nice.
