I am using a WF-139 to charge AW 14500 batteries. It takes alot longer than it should to go from blinking red to green to solid green. It should take 3-4 hours to charge the batteries but instead it takes more than 12 hours to go solid green. I dont have a voltage meter so I can't test them. Just a bad charger? the batteries seem to last as long as a 600 Mah battery should when they are finally charged. Any advice is appreciated.

Something isn't right there. My WF-139 charges 14650's in under 3 hours, 18650's the same. The 139 is the fast charger, my Trustfire TR001 takes twice as long but nowhere near twelve hours. I think you may need to invest in a multimeter or probably around the same cost replace that charger.

How many different batteries take the 12 hours ?? And what brand / type ?? Protected / IMR ?
Either the battery or the charger is wonky. If you had a meter you could tell whats going on.
The batts may be up to 4.2 in a 3 hours but the lights are not changing for some reason.

I have 2 pair of AW IMR 14500 bought from 2 different vendors and 1 pair of Ultrafire protected 14500 (blue casing) they all behave the same way. I think i'll just spring for a Pila charger next week, still less than a carton of cigs
