Or you could look at a Dicodes device like the Dicodes Dani Box.....very high quality...and very advanced...even better warranty than Yihi and Provari...namely 2 years, best box on the planet like now for a good features/quality combination....but it's also expensive........
Next up I would indeed advice a Provari or a SX mini M(L).....

I sent a nearly 3 year old device into Provape because it stopped responding one day. They cleaned it, fixed the switch for me and told me not to worry about the bill. There is much more to customer service than a 1, 2 or lifetime warranty, THAT is in my opinion is what makes Provape so awesome. They care about what they build and they were able to fix it for next to nothing so they decided not to charge me which I would have been ok with either way.

If you like the istick except for the button, you could try the kanger kbox 70. I've used one and compared it to my 50 istick (I've lost one of those because of a button too) and it literally is an istick 50 but with different buttons. There's a 400mah reduction in capacity but it will go up to 70w instead of 50. Had it been there when I bought my new istick 50 I would have gotten it instead.

Thanks for the suggestions, I ordered the Sigelei Mini to try it out, it also comes with a Sigelei X tank, and I've ordered TC coils. While not as big as the Subtank, it has a top refill so I wouldn't have to remove it all the time to top up which I think will greatly decrease the annoyance factor in maintaining the eCig.

I've bookmarked the Provari because of the high praise. I just don't like the Cigar type ecigs because the few I had in the past would fall over all the time by sitting on the desk and me just bumping the desk during use (which I'm always at the desk).

I'm going to pass on the few Kanger suggestions. Both of the Subtanks I have leak and my device is not very mobile and I only use 1 ejuice so I'm not mixing different blends etc. So my experience with their equipment has been fine, not great but not bad. There was a pretty extensive thread I found on here about Subtank leaks but they were referring to the seals, of which mine seem fine, the leakage I experience is in the airholes (which may not be preventable, I don't know).

I'm hoping the TC will let me maintain a controlled vape flavor / experience. I tried 40w on my Kanger OCC and nearly threw up so only getting a 40w device may not be a bad thing.

Greetings ECF, looks like things have grown and changed since last I was around, almost 5 years ago. (I hope this is the right place, I thought Vapor hardware but the sub-forums are very specific and I'm looking for a complete device I think its referred to as a Box Mod).

I've been trying to quit smoking and go to eCigs permanently for a very very long time. I just haven't found a good device that will last. Perhaps I'm disillusioned and they have to be replaced every 3 to 6 months. Considering their costs, $50 - $80, I'd like a device that could be long-term or some decent length.

I'm on my second Eleaf iStick 50w after switching to that from my second itaste 3.0. The button is garbage on the iStick. It either doesn't register or it has to be clicked in a dozen times to loosen it up maybe. It keeps automatically shutting off or not registering that its charged and I'll have to turn it off and back on. So I'm looking to people with more expertise than me because I know there is a lot of junk available, for a good recommendation. (Got them both from MtBakerVapor where I get all my juice, seems to have high reviews there but both of them have had random issues with shutting off or the button not working right)

Currently I have a 50w device but I only use 25w-30w because thats the highest my Kangertech OCC replacements support (7.0ml Subtank). So I don't necessarily need a 50w piece of equipment. I'll admit I want to Vape almost as lazily as I can smoke. I'm not terribly interested in the trouble of Rebuild-able coils (I only know about them because my 2 Kanger tanks came with them). I want to switch to eCigs completely if possible, but the trouble of dealing with them is so tedious and annoying.

I want something with a good seal (and a big tank, I only use 1 flavor and don't want to refill that often), I find both my Subtank Mini and Subtank leaks like nobody's business. I even attuned myself to vaping and inhaling in 1 go instead of holding in my mouth to reduce the amount of possible saliva or juice from dripping out and it still seeps out the air holes. Besides a new good tank, I also want a really good device that can support the 510 connection or whatever connection the Kanger Tank (or new tank) could hold. Since i have like 9 replacement COILS left I'd use them up first. It would rarely ever leave my desk so it doesn't need to be in a pocket all day in a work environment. Something that I can vape while its charging because when the device was working well I vaped 1.5 fillings of the 7ml tank in a day.

Some features that I'm pretty keen on are the 10s auto-shutoff so the battery doesn't get too hot. Programming in Watts instead of volts and that's it (a solid mechanical button would be nice). Thank you ahead of time for any advise / assistance.

Would recommend the IPV D2, eVic VTC MINI, and the istick60tc without a second hesitation.

+1 on the ProVape radius. Their stuff is fantastic. I upgraded to a ProVari 2 about 3 years ago during the carto days. Bought 5 more...Used them all through the kayfun days and eventually stored them in favor for bottom feeders. They lacked the features and power my vaping style demanded for awhile and I gave them away to newer vapers looking for something reliable. The stories you hear about their durability are true...I dropped one out of a 5th story window. The kayfun was a goner but the ProVari survived.
I bought a Radius out of curiosity. It's so nice, it motivated me to break out some older gear because it's an absolute pleasure to use. Well, I've since purchased another and some newer single coil attys. Worth every penny.

First I don't have that particular tank, but in my experience so far, Top fill tanks tend to leak VERY badly when you break the seal to fill them. What prevents the leaking when right side up is the air pressure in the tank. Once you open it up that pressure disappears and they flood.

While I don't have a Subtank yet (thinking of ordering one because it looks so easy to build on), normally though, if you are leaking through the airholes it means that you don't have a enough wicking for your particular juice. Solutions are to either use more wicking material or use a thicker (more VG) juice. 100% PG juicer are a lot thinner and require more wicking material than 100% VG juices and of course blends are going to be somewhere in the middle.

This is very good information, a bit depressing to find that this new tank I was slightly excited about might be worse than my old tank. I use a 50/50 blend just because thats the default on the order form. I just ordered a 236ml so I'll have to look next time to something stronger maybe 20/80. I'll have to test, I'm very particular about my juice. I have 3mg Nicotine because the flavor I find goes off with more than that.

As mentioned I don't have that specific tank, so who knows, maybe they solved that problem. Maybe you can still optionally bottom fill that tank. I will say that it helps on top fills if you fully close the air holes before breaking the seal. Maybe that will be enough.

I know you have already ordered but I too have been looking for a new good quality mod and I think I am going for the Vaporflask Light from www.vape-forward.com. It's about $80, 75w and does TC for ni200, T1, and SS with the added ability to modify the thermal settings for those wires. It's a new device but initial reviewers seem to say it's good quality.

Hey brother what did you do to your vapor shark to make it look stainless. Would like to do that to my VS DNA 200 when the paint starts to chip away. (I know it is bound too eventually!)

Edit: Disclaimer: I'm not slagging off any of the products / vendors. This has been my personal experience so its all anecdotal. It could be user error, though its pretty hard to mess up I imagine, its a combination of hand tightening all the pre-built components.

I like my Istick 30w and Istick 40w so much I just ordered two more Istick 30w. Can't beat them for their small size which I like and never had problems. The Istick 40w with a silicone sleeve might be good for you. The only other mod I think would be close as far as pocketability goes would be the cool fire IV. Most mods are clunky square bricks imho.

One more thing to consider is batteries. You have been using an internal battery mod. A lot of the mods being suggested use replaceable 18650 batteries. If you choose one of them, you will also need a quality charger and quality batteries to suit your desired wattage range, so you will need to figure that into your price comparisons as well. A good charger will run you $20ish and good batteries are about $6 - $7 each. You will want 2 sets of batteries for your mod so you can avoid downtime while charging. That being said, the mods I have seen the least negative comments about are: (You can get all these mods for $50 or less)

I don't own any of these, but they are highly recommended by others:
CoolFire IV - internal battery - 40W (new model coming soon, higher watts)
iPV D2 - 1 replaceable battery - 75W - TC capable
Evic VTC Mini - 1 replaceable battery - 60W - upgradeable - TC capable for ALL wire types (Also a new D3 model out)

Mods I DO own:
iPV4 - 2 replaceable batteries - 125W - TC capable - Great mod. I've had it for 6 months and it hasn't let me down yet with heavy daily use. High build quality.
RX200 - 3 replaceable batteries - 200W - TC capable for ALL wire types - Just got it a couple of weeks ago, but I like it. As you pointed out, it's comfortable to hold and would be hard to knock it over due to it's unique shape. Super high wattage capable, but you don't have to turn it up that high. Only downside is that you will need to buy 6 batteries for it to have a 2nd set. It's pretty heavy, but I like the weight and it's small enough I can conceal it in my hand with only the tank sticking out. There is also a DNA model for around $200. Higher quality chip in it, but requires you to download software and tinker with it to optimize the settings.
iStick 100W - 2 replaceable batteries in parallel - Sometimes you really do get what you pay for. It's a $30 mod and worth every penny of $25. Lol! The chip is decent and it works great. Awesome battery life. The craftsmanship of the mod's body is crap though. It's a great mod to take to the lake. If you drop it in the water, you probably won't cry about it. But you might miss the tank that was on it.

Update: Just got the Sigelei Mini Book 40w in and the build quality seems pretty stellar. I'm annoyed it has a bottom charger location because I'm always at the desk I just keep the charger plugged in. But I made a little cubby for it so the device could sit there and remain plugged in to the USB cable.

I'll keep an eye on performance and hope it works out. I've still got a few other good suggestions here to try out if this doesn't pan out.
