Can I use the ultrafire 18350 in my Screwdriver? Or is 1200 mah too much? I'm trying to find something a bit less expensive than the 18350 at Totally Wicked!
Thanks!
Kamanjah--mAh's are only a rating of the longevity of a battery, not to be confused with mA's which is a power rating. The 18350 should work fine from a power rating standpoint as it is 3.7 volts. I have never used this particular battery so I can not comment if it will actually fit the SD so that is something you have to check out.
Looking at Battery Junction, they are $4.95 a piece which is not bad---I am sure you can find them cheaper.
But remember that the
Ultrafire 18350 1200mah 3.7v BUTTON TOP Rechargeable Lithium Battery Li-Ion UF18350 cell
does NOT have an integrated PCB. Please be sure you fully understand how this product functions, how it should be charged and discharged and the proper handling of this battery type before attempting to use this battery!!
I only use and advocate protected
batteries.
