I never noticed this before today, but then again my computer is usually on as I'm charging and I can't hear that well over whatever my PC is doing, but this morning I started to charge before I turned my PC on, and I could hear a just barely audible buzzing or humming noise from my 18650 when placed in my Truefire charger. Both the battery and charger I've only had since the beginning of October, so I doubt they'd be malfunctioning so soon, but I figure I'd leave it to the experts at ECF to determine what's going on.
Should I chuck the battery? It's not very loud, difficult to hear even with everything off around it. It's about as loud as a television being on, the slight hum you get from a plasma TV or LCD monitor. The battery doesn't get hot or anything, and it still has some charge to it and it vapes okay. I've been vaping it for a good three days now without charge, and before my last charge I went a solid four days, so it still lasts a long time.
I don't particularly want to throw it out since I got no replacement battery and doubt I could wait the 1-2~ weeks to get a replacement.
