Hey ECF, I have been making lots of clapton's and was wondering of a more efficient/healthy way of cleaning them. would this work? i would be using water and dish soap as the cleansing liquid.

I would think that the expense in time and effort would outweigh the minuscule savings in wire, just rip em out and throw in a new coil, just my 
(Yes, I have built and vaped single and parallel Claptons, I know that it's not as easy as throwing together a micro coil, but it just doesn't seem worth it to me)
Edit: After reading your question again I saw that you may be asking about cleaning them before installing to get off any machining oil and such. I just wipe down my wire before making them and then dry burn them once installed.

i hope that link works. now you see why its a close debate for me. that thing is dead cheap with good reviews. and the work that these baths can do is crazy.

My experience. NO.
The gunk on coils is tough stuff! You can clean many things in an U-S cleaner, but ultimately, you'll need to dry-burn.
I have tried though. It takes more time and effort than just rinsing and dry-burning i.m.o.

I persoanlly opt for the route of alcohol wipes and no dry burning. I do not dry my coils (ever) and find this to be the most effective and efficent way
ummm nope... save your money and get either a new atty or 300' of wire

I have a UC that I use for mixing and that "what the hell" use it for atty's now too.
The last time I cleaned the Velocity I left my Claptons on the deck and the UC did a damn good job. I looked at you link and the one I have uses heat also so that might make a difference. The one you show doesn't use heat.
