Right if you think the pin is the problem - here you go

1) check the atomiser pin - if the centre pin doesn't protrude outwith the threads, you shouldn't be using it.
2) Check the istick pin - take a cocktail stick and go round the connector removing any gunk and check if it moves freely.
3) if still no joy, leave the istick switched on. plug in your charge lead, sit by it and see what happens. This might just reset it.
4) if none of this works you are Donald Ducked, so go buy another mod.

No not for straight round kanthal wire, that has other uses. Just for items from vape related businesses or that are sold for the sole purpose of vaping.

While there is wire that is sold "for vaping" we didn't start making coils a decade ago using designated vape gear... and that will continue. You just have to know what to buy, and from whom so it's not designated as vape related.

Many of us believe that, if not banned, it will become very hard to get good gear. And I personally believe that there will be no juices except tobacco flavors and maybe menthol.

Lots to read up on this late in the game. Many of us stocked up on nicotine and hardware.

Soucemore is in China - if you want to wait a month or two for your gear that's fine. They aren't a bad business, just slow.

I pointed you to a U.S. site that ships quickly so you'll get it fast, you'll have to decide if you want to wait or not .. if waiting isn't an issue go with sourcemore.

As for the external battery, all Pico's have external batteries meaning you'll have to buy one. I usually buy my batteries at either IMR batteries or LIION wholesale .. very reputable... never buy batteries at a vape shop - ever.

If you go with the regular PICO this is the right battery for you here:

This one might work for the 21700 Pico for you, since your low wattage:

Molicel M50A 21700 5000mAh 15A Battery

But I'm not sure if Mooch has run any tests on this one... I'd check and see if Mooch has tested it before buying...

It ships from China. That's the New Pico 75W with the offset top cape like the Istick 30W so you can put a larger than 22mm atty on it. It's kinda just came out.

The old Pico 75W doesn't have that offset top cap but can only take up to 22mm atty. However it becoming increasingly harder to find. I knew a place in the USA where I bought them on clearance but they are out of business now.

Yes the Samsung 30Q is a good battery, but only if you vape at say, no more than 12 amps. If you vape close to above that you'll need a higher amp battery, like a Molicel P26a or P28a, but there are others.

Well this sucks, I have an iStick 30w and toptank mini, I ran out of pre made coils so I thought i would try the RBA of the toptank. At first it read out as “protection” upon trying to fire it (I think the ohms were too low on the pre made coils included with the RBA at .1), then it said low battery (it was almost fully charged) so i plugged it in and tried to fire it once more and the thing started smoking (no protection message this time, just a little puff of smoke within the LED window). I only fired the button for a split second and it still seems to be functioning. Not sure what I should do lol or just ditch out on it? It appears to be working yet but stinks like an electrical fire now. I’m kinda reluctant to use it (I still have an old coil but it was starting to taste funky). Any advice or idea what might’ve happened?

I would avoid firing a mod that's plugged in unless it specifically states that it can be. It would seem that most newer mods have a bypass feature that disables the batteries upon firing while plugged in, but I wouldn't test it unless it's specifically stated.

I highly doubt this, because it isn't vape specific - that wire can be used for anything, it just so happens to be coiled up perfectly with a measured ID, lol.

You have to remember that even if a battery is rated for 15A, and you're using it at 15A, that's likely going to wear down much faster (less overall recharge cycles) than say a 30A Max Cont. Discharge battery being used at 15A since it's not heating up the battery near its limit.

Sourcemore has been very fast in my experience. For me placing my order to my door 10 days, as long as the items you order say 24 hours. My last order placed on the 18th received today. They say typical shipping time 10-15 Business Days.

They've really sped up their times then, back a year or two ago I ordered something and FastTech was faster, and that's hard to do.

But I have noticed many lately saying they've had faster shipping with Sourcemore .. good to know.
