Well sort of, obviously its not made from damascus steel and wont be packaged in a chunk of laser etched tree, but the 5th series bt by element has been cloned. Yh it is really similar in design but its a mech mod and is smaller then the vtr. It also takes attys up to 23.5mm wide thats why I want one so bad!

I guess I just don't get the prices either. I mean yeah, okay Damascus steel may be amazing, but regular steel is nice too. And the hunk of tree??? It's cool for about 10 minutes after getting the mod, but then what? I don't know about anyone else, but I never put my equipment in a box after getting it. I suppose if someday I have twenty or thirty various mods of different types, maybe then I'll care about the packaging so I can display them in a cool container. I have a hard time thinking they can really be making many sales at those prices though. Just got done reading about how iPad sales have crashed because there are so many cheap tablets available. Same thing... people need value AND bang. Not just pretty bang. Then again, I suppose they only have to sell one or two of the expensive mods a year to make them worth having in their inventory, vs selling 50 $50 mods.

I totally get where you're coming from (not that I would ever have that kind of money to blow), but if 10 people would do it, they met their goal. Although why anyone would want to limit a sales run to 10 is beyond me. I'm glad they do make clones of all the mods so people like me can eventually afford them. I'm still working on it, but at least there are more reasonable choices that I will eventually be able to get, lol. $1500 would NEVER be possible, or a reasonable thing for someone in my position to do.

Its gonna be stainless steel but with some sort of 3D engraving all over the tube to give it the corrugated look of the original, and have copper contacts and a telescopic positive contact like the original. It also comes with the atomizer.

Only think I'm a skeptical of is if they can get the finish the same colour as real blue tongue damascus steel, and if they can will it be permanent, or wear off like a paint or plating...

I'm not sure about WOOD BOX MOD THOUGH,i still own a 26650 Hades and stingray but i don't use them anymore, my ADV is my seven 30 and when i feel like blowing clouds i use my BIG BANG DUAL 26650 BY HI VAPERS..

Yh i didn't think they'd clone a damascus steel mod with as much detail as the bt 5th though. Glad they did.

They might even do the box if they really wanted, the an akuma clone by acerig comes with a clone of the original box, not that i give 2 ....s about the packaging though lol
