Has anybody else noticed an effect with the
tobacco Absolutes that's similar to what I've read about people using WTAs?
I'd been using other flavours and I'd started smoking again - not much, about 12 grams (half an ounce) of my favourite hand rolling tobacco a week - about a quarter of what I used to smoke before.
I felt I needed something from the tobacco that just nicotine wasn't providing.
And then, after advice from this thread, I bought and started using TAs - particularly TA Virginia and DNB though I have the Cuban as well which I found a bit too sweet - and suddenly I found I had no desire to buy and smoke tobacco any more. The TA seemed to be providing more than I was getting from nicotine even though I'm using the TA in relatively small quantities - 1% Virginia and 1% DNB in every mix I make.
I'm fairly sure that whatever process that's used to make the TAs from tobacco leaf is also preserving some of the other stuff that I used to get from smoking even though there's no scientific evidence for it as far as I know.
Anybody else noticed this?
