Hey all... So after quite a bit of research, looking for a way to get more vape/flavor/throat hit (currently using an eGo with a LR 1.5 atty & drip-tip) I decided that I needed to go up in voltage... Without wanting to spend $150 on a new PV, plus S&H, plus wait 3-4 weeks (canadian), I decided to give the eGo Booster a try. It had good reviews, it looked like it was exactly what I needed, and the price was right.
I got it today, spent a couple hours playing with it, and gotta say am not impressed. If I was to compare what I'm getting now, using both a LR atty as well as a stock SR atty, to what I had previously, I can barely tell a difference, besides maybe a little more flavor... But not any more throat hit, nor any more vapor production than before. Everyone seems to say that they are noticing big differences that make this product worth the purchase, but I just don't see it. I've tried different attys and battery combos (in case it was old/damaged), but still get the same results. I know the product works because I do see the variance in vape when adjusting the dial, and a SR atty works better with the Booster, but no different than without it on a LR atty.
I feel like I've wasted my money. I just want something GOOD. I'm starting to think I should just suck it up, forget that I've spent around $400 on random ego parts in the past 6 months, and just spend another $150-$200 on something really nice. Is there something I should be aware of or that I'm overlooking?!
Thanks.
