I'm sure there are threads about this piece of junk. But I'm venting. I have an army of pro tanks. Never felt the need to upgrade. I finally went to the store and asked for a pro tank 3. They just had uni tanks. Ok. I'll take one. What a mistake. Why with the big spring? Why the trap door that barely let's liquid into the coil when you want it but if there is a drop in there when you remove the cap to fill, that spring opens and let's the liquid right out the other end. Silly. And because it is so dang tight, I remove one tiny flavor wick...now I just have a liquid strainer and no working device. Aside from the fact that I feel like I'm drinking a frozen milkshake through a coffee straw. What is the point of this tank? I have heard poor things about the Pro 3 as well, so I guess I'm just gonna keep rebuilding my first gens...I suppose kanger ' motto is "if it ain't broke, fix it until it is". What a let down.

Actually, I loved my unitank (before I goofed and filled it with hot cinnamon:oops:) because of the top fill. I was able to refill it without needing to take it off of my itaste vv, which was very important for me since I have hand problems. I never had a problem with the spring, though I do think that it would have worn out eventually. I also didn't have any leaking problems.

I'm using a protank now (the one I bought for the cinnamon) but I'm going to get another unitank as soon as I can afford to. I can see where it would be a little fussy for someone who didn't want/need the top fill. I guess that I wouldn't have ever thought of it as an upgrade to the protanks, just as an alternative.

Good points. I dont know why i had figured it would be better than a pro tank. I know that everything has a chance of not working well (the numerous people that dont like pro tanks because of air flow, leaking, what ever else), so i would imagine there are going to be a few rotten apples in the uni tank area as well. I am just so disappointed with mine. sigh.
