The funny thing about this is that there currently is no law stating that this is illegal. While any respectful
vaping retailer already bans sales to minors they technically don't have to. So, what exactly do they want to prove by doing this study? I bet they will find that currently all owners are operating within their legal rights. Instead of spending the $350k on this study pay down the deficit lol.
How many corner stores are they going to go to out of these 4,000 businesses? I almost bet they go solely to convenience stores that don't always have the highest moral code. Another good study to create public outrage and further their Bill. I can already see our trusted representatives standing behind a podium announcing that minors are able to
buy these products. Our children are able to
buy these products. They are using this angle to get their agenda passed.
I can't say that many people are opposed to banning sales to minors. There are other issues with this bill that we are concerned with. However in typical fashion the government will ignore our voices, perform studies to push their agenda, and pass the bill without it being amended.
