If e-cigs are banned it will be the fault of the providers and users. For those whom need to be reminded; governments will ban anything simply because the can. Why must everyone take a simple smoking alterative and turn it into tool for generating attention for themselves. Just a quick glance at YouTube and it should be clear why e-cigs are not welcomed more graciously. You have syringes, paper clips, vials, hookah inspired contraptions. Is there anyone wishes to reserve a low profile. Of course e-cig businesses naturally adapt behavior normally found among dope peddlers. Look no further volcano. I'll spare you the obscene level of customer service, but look at their ultimatum approach in providing cartomizers for those who use the volcano mini. Practically overnight a pack of 5 cartridges priced at $0.99 combined with an atomizer at $6.99 was replaced with cartomizers costing close to $11.99. Now you have a once incredibly cheap alternative; now an unnecessary expense. If you want the blanks; you need a paper clip for proper use. Yes an American business deliberately introduces a product which requires a paper clip to operate. The whole concept of vaping while mobile is becoming less and less feasable. I want to know how in this economy at 9% unemployment; Americans can afford $12 cartridges. Never mind the suggestion that a Volcano cartridge is the equivalent of 1 pack of cigarettes; which is nothing more than a marketing tool. The electronic cigarette is just a tourniquets away from being attached to a jail sentence.

I use neither paperclips nor needles to fill my cartos. I have a drip tip and a bottle of liquid. I can get weeks out of a $1 carto. I can get months out of $60 of juice.

I don't need an FDA study to tell me that 3 food grade chemicals is safer than smoking. Where do you get your propaganda?

Lots of misinformation in the OP post regarding prices of Ecig accessories. "If" Ecig suppliers were overcharging vapers would simply order direct from China but, for the most part, they're not. Paper clips and syringes I don't use them and I get 1-2 weeks out of each carto costing me $1.00 per week. My juice is costing me $2.00 per week. Would you prefer we all go back to analogs? Bottom line...U.S./ ECF listed Vendors supply quality product at a reasonable price and I'm a vaper.

In no way do I believe vaping will become "illegal". I do believe the government wants to regulate the sale of pv and and juices. I think it's a load of BS IMO and only a means of the government helping their own special interest.

I never use a syringe. And I can get 7-10 days use out of one cartomizer then start totally fresh with a new one. I pay about $7-10 for 5 BLANK cartomizers and get at least 2 weeks use out of a pair. I use a paperclip ONCE to remove the endcap and I replace it with a plastic or delrin drip tip (the same $3 drip tip every time, not a new one). I carry my ecigs, a couple of small bottles of juice, and a PCC charging case.

I only use cartomizers for my main vapes. For occasional vapes or testing juice, AT HOME, I use an atomizer and drip tip on a sealed manual battery (which is the kind of battery I use anyway)

I have found my everyday juices so now I only shop the sales and stock up then. And my everyday juices are thin and clear with no flavoring sediment so I get good life out of my cartomizers.

Chris, follow the money. The forces stacking up against us are funded by big pharmacy.... the people who sell the smoking cessation products that largely don't work.

Are there vendors who sell overpriced, low quality e cigs? Sure. Spend a little time around here, and you won't be getting ripped off by them.

He's obviously upset about something. From what I can tell, he just overpaid a bit for a Mini kit and doesn't know how to refill cartomizers, and doesn't realize atomizers die. At least he didn't fall for a "free" trial, or the "highest rated" ecig.

I do not appreciate the way the OP started out here. He could have asked a few questions first. I guess I just don't understand his point. I really don't think that ecigs will be made illegal. I enjoy vaping and think that we do need a voice in the legislative machinery but not a negative one as the OP has. Just my .

Sounds like the OP is mad at vendor or two.

Yeah, the govt can do whatever they want, however, I think the e-cig community has grown up quite a bit. There are a ton of good vendors out there selling all manner of cartos, attomizers, "clearomizers", and yeah - stuff that looks like something out of a sci-fi movie.

As a community, we're very good at self-policing. Vendors who sell crappy products (mods that don't work, cartos that leak, liquids that taste like wet socks) don't end up with much business.

If you have purchased products from a vendor who is not delivering good customer service and a positive use experience, then use a different product. Many of us here got here because we were "burned" (no pun intended) by a less-than-stellar product *cough* mall kiosk *cough*, found a wealth of knowledge, and bought "something else".
