I have had a lot of trouble with the v3 heads as well. I burnt 3 heads in 1 day. So I decided to try rebuilding one. Way better. Got 2 ohms and it vape perfectly. I liked the shorter wicks so I made the wicks short in mine. Main thing to remember if you are going to rebuild them is to get some silver nonresistance wire so you don't get hot legs. Cost me 10 cents to rebuild a head.

NO this is not a pipe bomb!!!!!

I'll chime in and say I had some funky heads with my v3 too. I let Tom know and he said that he wasn't aware of anyone else having issues, so drop him an email or like cmac said post in the official forums. We'll get Mopar to crack out the multimeter and check all 8000 replacement heads they have in stock. :)

The Novas only have rubber pushing the wire against the metal for a connection so they do not hold a steady resistance like a ce2 soldered connection. The Star Dust was the same way. They usually come into range after a bit of use.

Also a good reason to have VW! When you have it set where you like the taste, it will follow the resistance as it varies. I can't wait!

Not to say that there couldn't be a bad batch!

Very true, although one of my heads was scrap due to the rubber plug thingie pushing the wire up into the coil and only making minimal contact with the housing.

Anyway, I just got another head a buddy ordered for me from canvape, and it is perfect, so. The novas are well built tanks, I like 'em.

If I was making a hundred of these a minute, I would probably screw up a couple myself! Lol

I am so happy not to have tissues stuffed in my pockets all the time! Lol

I used to sell light bulbs (you know, when you make a bazillion light bulbs a year, theres bound to be "the one"), hence why things like this don't bother me. :)

I noticed lately that after the fourth or so head cleaning that it now goes through juice like CRAZY. I'm not vaping any more than I used to, but I'm lucky to have 2ml last a day of vaping. Normally a phoenix lasts me all day and the T2 a little longer.

Hello fellow vapers. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Adam and crew for setting the standard for all vendors as regards to pricing and service in Canada. I have noticed that pricing from all Canadian vendors for hardware has dropped considerably over the last year. Gotta love the free market system! Well done boys, well done.
