Unprotected Li-ion batteries?

Can some one explain this to me? What do I have to watch out for if they are unprotected?

Over voltage, under voltage, high current draw, high temperatures....

In general the price difference between protected and unprotected batteries are so small as to not matter...there really is no reason NOT to buy protected batteries

except triple a size(10440) only comes unprotected.............if you have the proper charger so as not to overcharge it is very difficult to vape it into undercharged status

any other size battery there is no real reason to buy unprotected

I was looking at the VP1, and it says it has unprotected batteries.... so can I purchase protected ones and use those with the VP? And if I can... why would it even have unprotected batteries? I'm confused.

The screwdriver, janty stick and other mods use unprotected as well...........if your charger has overprotection it is very difficult to vape to the point of overdischarging and if you do it will simply not recharge.

the 10440 is the only battery that will fit in mods that small. I have the same batts in my passthru . So it is not a real big deal IMO

the charger is the most important part

yes you can get them in AA size.............but not in AAA size I.E. the smaller mods like vp1
