So I received my new ProVari Mini saturday, black satin with blue LED, two 18350s, and one 18490 w/ extension tube. I was a little worried on how the 18350s would last. I fully charged the batteries, popped one in at about 2pm, and it just died on me about 2 hours ago(well maybe not died, but my button started flashing, so I changed it). I think that is pretty damn good for such a small battery. Keep in mind though, that I carry at least 2 or 3 devices at a time, so I wasn't using the vari exclusively, but was using it a lot. Just loaded the 18490, I do like how the original end cap looks better, but the extender looks good too. We will see how the bigger batt lasts.
