See Candle Power Forum. AW's LiIon Batteries Sales Thread *Part 12* I've read quite a bit of it and "Andy" or "Andrew" apparently developed the batteries.

I just checked the CPF thread and Andy says that the IMR 14500's will be available (from China) tomorrow!!

The IMR14500s will be available in Tuesday. Other items are in stock. I can
ship this order on Tuesday 28th.

Thanks!

That means that they should also be shipping to the American suppliers tomorrow!!!

This is par for the course considering I just ordered the 14500 protected! That figures.
Thanks for the info.

Sounds like your luck is similar to mine. And so, I have to thank you from all the new Reonauts. It was the fact you ordered the protected that *caused* them to become available :) :) :)

was wondering, would these batteries make a difference with vv. I use the trustfire (flames) 900mah now. I bought a 4 sets about 3 months ago and have noticed with the dual coil carts I probably get 6-8 hours on them now and I was getting a full day with lr atties. Does anyone know if the difference is signifigant using variable volt as opposed to 3.7 single battery vaping ? I think I'm due for some new ones and thought I'd get some opinions on these before I order again.

Edit: My setup uses two batteries

For VV devices that uses batteries in series and regulates the voltage down, protected Li-ions are safer. The PCB's will keep the batteries from over discharging. IMR's will keep draining until their combined voltage is less than what you have your mod set to deliver. Example: If you set it at 4.5 volts and use two IMR's, they'll both discharge to less than 3.0 volts each before your VV won't fire anymore. That's not a good idea. It stresses the batteries and is potentially unsafe.

Single battery IMR use in a Reo is fine. You can normally tell by your vape that you need to charge your battery before it gets below 3.5 volts.

Unless you order a "BUNCH" of aw imr 14500's from Andrew Wong (AW) owner, inventor, distributer on the CPF Market Place Forum you are over paying. For example.... 1x 14500 from him plus shipping is...$6.50 batt/ $4.50 shipping/ $3 registered mail (which your wise to do when buying from oversea's) = $14 for 1 battery. 6 batts = $46.50....
Now, in just a few days they will be hitting all the "normal" vendor's here in the states. Then (for example) you could get 1x 14500 from RTD $6.99 plus $1.94 (Firstclass usps) = $8.93. 6 batts = $41.94 from RTDVapor...

oh well so i overpaid a couple of bucks
i got 4 IMR 14500 +2 IMR 18650 for 53.00 shipped with tracking.
thats what maybe $4-5 dollars more. And if he is just getting is hands on them he still has to ship them to the US and then the vendors have to ship them to me. I'll pay the 5 dollars to save a week of looking at this REO Mini without trying it ;)

My above post was NOT directed at you. I completely understand having a reo you can't use while waiting on batteries. Same thing happened to me on my first one. My REO beat my batts by 4 days comming from wonderlite, with him in the same state as me... My comment was directed to people that think they're going to get a "better" deal by buying direct. Which is NOT the case unless your buying in "vendor-sized" volume...

I agree. That is certainly worth a few bucks. I had to look at my first REO for two days without batteries. I took pictures.

no problem
i just wanted to let people know that if you NEED Some of these batteries at least there is a glimmer of hope. In my case i just figured this was that fastest way. I could be wrong.

At least it is one less thing i have to obsess over finding and getting squared away.
My paypal account must be wondering what hit it in the last three weeks.
