I'm new to vaping and I was hoping to get some upgrade advice, it's all a little overwhelming. I don't really want to spend a ton of money but I also don't want to end up having to replace something that doesn't meet my needs.
I've been a smoker for about 25 years and until I started vaping a couple weeks ago I was a pack a day smoker. I picked up a Joyetech eRoll kit and have been able to cut down to 2 smokes a day which is much better than I was ever able to do using gum or patches but I feel like the eRoll just isn't cutting it. I'm constantly filling the tank, charging it, or dealing with leaks which is annoying and I would also like more vapor.
I was looking at the Evod starter kits because of their simplicity and because the tanks and batteries are much larger but when I talked to the guy at the local B&M he said that I wouldn't get any more vapor from the Evod since they are both at 3.7v. I'm not sure how correct that is because you can get 1.8 ohm coils for the Evod vs 2.3 ohm attys on the eRoll but it got me looking at more advanced setups. I asked about the iTaste VV and he tried to steer me towards the MVP2 and IPV3, both seem like good devices but a box mod is about the least desirable form factor to me.
Despite being a box mod of sorts the eleaf iStick is tempting based on price and features, however it does have a couple of issues and I'm starting to think that I want something with a replaceable battery. I've also been looking at the eVic, Vamo 5, and Provari v2. The Provari appears to be the best hands down but with the price to match, the eVic is the best looking IMO, and the Vamo is the most affordable. One thing that's a little confusing is that most manufacturers recommend a specific brand of battery but I've seen several people say that the sony vct4's are the best to use, and is flat top vs button top something to pay attention to? Any advice on the models mentioned would be appreciated.
Tanks/Attys seems to be another can of worms so I'm thinking about starting with the Nautilus Mini based on popularity and going from there.
TIA for any input. The post didn't go through the first time and I had to retype most of it so hopefully it works this time, I did save a copy this time so I'm already learning.
