One last question (man, i'm already addicted to this forum! lol) before I go to bed:

I think I need an upgrade from my current eGo CTwist
It just doesnt last as long as I would like - I always have to take my backup battery with me if I go out for the day, and I need more of a "hit". Does that makes sense to anyone? Maybe I'm just typing away bc its 5 am here.

My husband has an e-cig thats so darn embarrassing. Its HUGE. I would be embarrassed to go out in public with it, because it looks X rated! LOL
Any advise / recommendations for an e-cig is greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance.

Oh I wish I could send a pic on this thing.
I love how my ego CTwist is nice and dainty. Very feminine.
I wish I could either link this w FB or even twitter, I could send you a pid.

Price....well considering I used to spend $6 on a pack of cigs every other day....price for e-cigs have really taken a whole new meaning now. LOL
When I think about how much money I wasted smoking, I'm willing to spend money on a decent e-cig. :)

Egos are about as big as it gets for what we call "disposables". The next step up is a mod, or APV (advanced personal vaporizer). Sounds like your hubby has one of those.

The Smoktech Gripper has variable voltage and fits in the hand. It's cheap because it has a plastic casing. A lot of people like it because it fits in the hand so easily. The Gripper takes a big 18650 battery, so will give longer battery life. $50 at Mad vapes at the moment, in black or silver:
Variable Volt Gripper, Silver

The Inokin MVP is a new device out that is proving quite popular. Also variable voltage. Metal casing, but not heavy. Also fits in the hand. It has a huge battery capacity- 2600mah. This doesn't have a removable battery - you charge it up similar to an Ego. $70. I've linked here so you can see the three different colors:
Innokin iTaste MVP - Avid Vaper

More than one vendor sell these pvs so I recommend window shopping a bit. Personally I really like the look of the Inokin MVP.

I agree on the 1300mah Spinner, or perhaps a 900mah one.

But I don't understand your "need more of a hit" comment. What kind of a carto/tank/clearo are you using? The Twist goes up to 4.8 volts. On my 650mah Twist, I use a Vivi Nova tank with a 2.4ohm head in it. If I crank the Twist up past 4.2 volts, my juice starts tasting burnt. 4.8volts is way more than I need, so the Twist shouldn't be a limiting factor in the "hit".

The "X" rated comment cracked me up. OMG, men are going to be replaced by Provari's. Let me tell you something Missy. Provari don't push the lawn mower.

How long have you had the EGo Twist? I have heard they last about 200 charges before starting to sour. If you use a wick, do you rewick yourself? I've had a couple that I've rewicked and if it's just not right, it drains my EGo 650mah a little faster than what I was used to seeing. You did say you were looking for recommendations. If he has a Provari, you could get one. The batteries would be interchangeable and if you're concerned how it looks "X" rated, it does come in pink. But then in this case, bigger is not always better.

I have both a full size Provari and the Smoktech VV Gripper.

The Provari is a variable voltage device built to last for years and works flawlessly with nearly any juice carrying device. You can't beat Provape's customer service and 1 year warranty; they will also continue to service the Provari even after warranty expiration. That's something I believe everyone should consider when comparing mods.

Yes, it is expensive initially (beginning @ $165), but nearly all Provari owners agree enthusiastically that it is worth every penny. It has been considered the gold standard to what other mods are compared to. It is available in a Mini form (same inner components as the regular, just shorter with shorter lasting batteries). Which is more important, size factor or how long you can go before changing out a battery? Get the Mini and carry an extra battery with you.

The Smoktech VV Gripper is small, comfortable to hold, lightweight, stealthlike, and easily pocketable. The battery it uses lasts all day. The rubberized finish feels nice to the touch. The display is sharp and the 3 button control makes it simple to change voltages. It's only possible downfall is the plastic case likely not being as durable as a metal case would have been. Yet, it's cheap $50 pricetag compensates for this.

If anything should be "X" rated, it should be the Silver Bullet. Google that and see what pops up!

I agree my boyfriend carries thoses huge eCigs around too and they are a hassle my opinion. I absolutely love my eGo CTwist but hates the battery life on Myn as well. I use the new eRoll mini's quite a bit because it comes with a portable charger and last longer then my eGo. It's great to have when I'm out and my eGo Dies. :)

With my eGo CTwist I can't go above 4.0 because of the burnt taste I keep Myn around 3.5-3.8

If you already have a Twist, the Spinner isn't tremendously different. Battery is just a little larger is all. You're not getting any extra features. Over time, all batteries don't last as long. Particularly if you're using low resistance cartomizer/tanks. You might want to move to an APV if you want variable voltage and longer battery life.

If it's too 'large' (and the Twist isn't exactly small) you might want to move to a different form like a box mod.

Just a quick note, I know there are some mods out there that look very big, but to be honest I am of the opinion that I love people seeing me with my e-cigs! I really enjoy when someone comes up and asks about them, and these are the people who honestly have been thinking suggesting it to a friend or loved one, or themselves so I look at it as possitive exposure. I personally will never feel embarrased about vaping. I know the decision to stop smoking analogs was one of the best decisions I have ever made. If I can possitively impact someone else with my healthier habit I'm all for that :) BTW there are smaller mods out there I love the VMOD and the VMOD mini if you like dripping it might be an option. Good luck!
