Its not the wrapping, im great with little stuff like that, its what ive gathered to be an unreliability. For 10 hours a day I need good strong hits, consistency, and the ability to grab and go, I dont have fiddle time at work. I was not fond of the iclear. Im just hoping maube theres optiins out there I havnt came across

Now.correct me.if.im.wrong, systems like that still.need tweaking etc through the day?

Tweaking throughout the day? Not necessarily. You build your coil, install it in your RTA, fill with juice, and you're done.

You won't have to fiddle with the set-up during the day (unless something goes horribly wrong) - but how often does your PT coil go horribly wrong during the day? Take that number, and subtract heavily from it - then you'll have the reliability of an RTA :)

I run my kfl+ for 2-3 full 4+ml tanks before I change my cotton wick. I only change my coil when I feel that it might need it, or if I want to change resistance (I use mechanicals). - just to show how maintenance free it is.

Coils are very easy to wrap, with a little practice, and well worth it for the performance. Throw that kfl+ with a 1ohm coil on that nemesis you have... "Oh crap..."

That said, I'm currently puffing away on a protank 2 on one of my mechs, so you might not even NEED to upgrade. You just need to try to rebuild your PT coils, that will make a world of difference. If you don't want to try to do a dual coil for your PT3, you can build a single coil instead.

So im going to have to go rebuildable to upgrade in all reality

Well, some will say that you ought to try an Aspire Nautilus (over the PT3), or perhaps a Davide BDC, or the Kanger AeroTank (a bigger, Air-flow controlled PT3) - but my personal opinion - and it is just my opinion - is that if you want to take a step-up from the PT3, you need to get into rebuildables.

Of course, as with anyone's opinion, you should do loads of research online and form your own conclusions :)

I dont have it yet, truth be told most likely wont keep it as I really like my vv,vw svd of course I probably have the wrong name as I need to go revisit that email. Nemesis, genesis, its a rba not a mod...or I cant read. But I digress...im not much of a.cloud chaser either I just want good flavor and consistent nicotine lol

I'm not a cloud chaser either. I like flavor more than I like clouds. Low resistance doesn't necessarily mean cloud chasing. Some of my liquid just tastes better to me at low res on my mech.

If it's a genesis that you got, it's a more daunting build than a kayfun style Atty. BUT, I wouldn't get rid of it. Who knows, maybe you'll be looking for a challenge one day.

I edited my last post, so maybe reread it.

The only thing that pushes me to think about rba is my friend at my b&m, everytime im there.hes got me tasting some delicious something or another off some new shiny something or another that makes me.pocket my kit is semi shame lol. Im always looking to upgrade just about everything I have lol im just really looking for something more. I feel placated rather than.content since switching to this setup

This is great. You won't be disappointed. The flavor is awesome.

Very easy to build too. Never a dry or burnt tasting hit. At least for me. Plus the tank holds a ton of juice.

One thing though is to not build to low resistance of a coil. I did a .7 ohm coil first time around and it was kinda a hot vape. I'm at 1.0ohm now and seems to be perfect.

I can but a genuine for 55.00 just wondering if its worth the extra or if the clone is close enough? Im still on the fence but I could sell the gen and go from.there

I'm pretty sure the genuine kayfun 3.1 is over a hundred dollars.

But I can say the hcigar brand clone works flawlessly for me. Great flavor and vapor. 10x better than a Kanger protank 2 which is what I came from.

RTA are the way to go :) if your concern is with reliability, then you'll be fine. Once you've built aw microcoil and set it up, it's reaaaaaally fuss-free. I have about 10 kfl and r91, and it's always the same. Spend 5-10 means coiling, wick and juice up and let it run. My coils can usually last up to 3 to 4 weeks, and I change my wick every couple of days. It's reliable as hell, never get any dry hits, and the only time you needa do anything is to top it up.

What is it that you don't like about the PT3. It seems like you have tried the standard tanks and such, so not sure what you want without a rebuildable. You might have luck with something like an IBTanked cartotank if you are looking for more flavor (I personally don't like cartotanks but I think I may be in the minority). Also, if you decide to get a rebuildable, there is no reason it will not work on your SVD. Rebuildable does not necessarily equal sub ohm. I have some drippers that I run at 1.7 ohms with no problems at all on a Vamo. I just tend to not like building dual coils (or triple, quad, etc.) for my VV/VW devices because they take longer than I like to heat up properly with the resistances needed to stay above the typical 1.2 ohm limit. I love my Kayfun 3.1 and it never gives me any issues. Maybe someone else has a recommendation that will work better for you, but though I would chime in :)

I dont personally like cartos, I have used a ego, and a dc artemis carto tank and simply dont like them, as for the pt3 the occasional gurgle and crackle, seems to darken my liquid quick (regardless of blend) and the draw is nice, but relativly thin vapor. Dont get me wrong, love the tank, just looking for a bit more vapor, and flavor. Ive been using my evod more the last day since I bought one.
