I picked up a Smokjoy N-Fire Max for my wife a few weeks ago. I urged her not to get it because of the voltage/wattage limits, but she was stuck on how "unique and awesome" it looked. http://www.smokjoy.com/fo/pd_110_en.html

Does anyone know if there is a way to upgrade the chip in this thing to 20 or 30 watts? I've never pulled it apart (and frankly am scared to because of the wood), but she really wants to use it with my Fogger v4 at 0.4ohms.

20 to 30 watts is on the high side for variable voltage/wattage mods. For sub ohm vaping, you really need a mechanical mod or one of the protected high wattage mods like the DNA30 or the Emech. They aren't cheap, but are protected.

You'd just about have to talk with the supplier for Smokjoy to see if there are parts available or other versions of the one you have. Most builds are proprietary and not available except in available models.
