Thanks for all the help. ONE more question...On madvapes theres a warning that says "low resistance cartos should not be used with the ego" i was under the impression that upgrading to the ego would allow me to use LR stuff. Is that not right?

Sweet guys thanks for all the advice. Anybody know a good place I can get an Ego kit with like 900 or 1000mah that comes with a passthrough? Or do passthrough's always have to be bought separately?

to me there is only one place to buy and ego. cignot. their prices arent bad and their customer services is the best. seriously the best. ive bought 3 egot kits from Vicky at cignot and wouldnt hesatate to buy another. i had a battery issue with one of the extra batteries i had bought with one of the kits and within 2 days had another battery in my mailbox. no questions asked.

cignot also carrys genuine Joy ego kits and parts and you can customise your kit to your liking. if you want 1 red 650mah bat with a regular ohm aty and one green 1000mah bat with LR aty no problem. thats really cool if you ask me. im not sure you can do that anywhere else but you can at cignot.

i use Boge LR cartos with my ego or LR 510 atys when i drip. my wife still uses the tanks with LR aty. ive never used anything but LR stuff with my ego and never had a problem. my 1000mah bat still last me all day.

LR drains the batteries faster which increases the amount of recharges and therefore shortens their life. I think there has been a few reports of just a few weeks. Those batts could have been weak from the factory tho-who knows. I've read several posts where people are using them without problems. You take your chances though because you are pulling heavier current with the LRs.

I was in your boat a few weeks ago. I was using a 510 but wanted something that produced more vape and had longer battery life. I ordered this 'already built' box mod and it has been great. I also got four 14500 high drain batteries and a charger. This thing lasts all day long on a single charge, produces huge vape, and the mod itself was only $27 (I got the mod without the usb).

Add me to the "eGo/Riva" list. I started with the 510 and nine months later, I use an eGo (650mAh) batt with LR attys and a drip tip for dripping. When driving/distracted/can't drip I use Boge LR cartos. BIG difference!

Hey guys so I've been vaping about a month now on a standard 510 and I'm getting pretty jealous every time I watch a youtube video with someone puffin on a giant thing with mammoth clouds of vapor and all the crazy long battery life I've read about. Payday is coming up. I'm saving like 200 bucks a month now from ditching analogs so I can afford it. I want to upgrade but I don't really know what I'm doing. I was looking at the Ego kit or maybe this Boge Revolution V2. Smart choices? I really don't know. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you are looking for a wicked set up try a GLV2, 510 to 510 extender leading to a boge LR cartomizer that is inside a Liquinator.....I am sooooo happy with this setup. Everyone has their own thing and there are lots of good setups. This one has long life, great vapor/taste and you don't have to fill every hour.
