I currently use a halo g6 and with kanger 808 tanks. The vapor production is nice and satisfying. Way more than I cig would. I have a couple of buddies of mine that have mods and they recommend me to ditch the g6 and get a mod. From what I know the vapor production is very over exaggerated. But is it all worth it? Does it improve favor a lot? I don't really see the benefits from what I have and Mods? The g6 works the kanger tanks are 2.25 a piece and no need for rebuilding once the coil gets a burnt taste you just buy a new one and one tank will last me a month. So can someone tell what's the benefits? From what I see I think it's just luxury vaping.

The benefits are:

1) longer battery life.
2) they will take just about any resistance you want.
3) lots of accessories for them.
4) can accommodate larger tanks.
5) vapor and flavor is better (IMO)

If you are happy with what you have and it works for you to stay off the ciggys then I wouldn't let your buddy's influence your decision.

I absolutely cannot agree more with this statement. If your current setup works for you, and keeps you off cigarettes that is all that should really matter. I made the switch to VV and mechanical mods because the vape I was getting from my initial kit just wasn't satisfying to me.

I agree.

That said, "mods" is a very broad and vague term. I'm not sure what your friends have in mind; you most certainly do not need an expensive and big device to improve the quality of your vape. But you might consider upgrading just a notch or two. Even getting a small eGo-class variable voltage battery will give you all those benefits that tmcase listed above for not much money. There are many such batteries on the market (510 threaded, through)--eGo-C Twist, Vision Spinner, or even the most advanced of the bunch iTaste VV V3. Or, if you want to stay with Halo's gear and the kr808 connection--you may want to try a Triton.

Having said that, I agree with my friends above--if you're happy with your setup and don't feel like you need to upgrade--don't!!!! The best PV is the one that works for you.
