Snag, I have been told that the longer wick clearo's also have a better tank material. Some of the names I have read are: EgO Vision v2 (version 2?), CE4, and CE4+. I was looking at Smokteks clearomizers...I wrote them and they said they have not had anyone complain about cracking from juices. I'm gonna buy from them next week....

Are the longer wicked sturdier clearomizer all they were hoped to be? Still cracking from acidic juice? Are they still positionally challenged?

I couldn't tell you about the cracking issues since I don't use citrus or cinnamon juices, but I can tell you that the new version wicks better with 50/50 juice. I've been using them all week and I haven't had to tip them at all to get just about all the juice to wick, with no dry hits so far. Other than that, performance is about the same as the previous version, which has always been very good for me.

Somewhere out there
I have been using the Phoenix XL in 2.6, 2.8 R and out of 6 only 3 work. When they work they are fabulous, but my problem is the wicks are burnt to a crisp after a couple puffs and only at 3.7 v. So I have been having problems. But I do have two going well right now, even refilled the one no problem. But aaack, 50% duds is not good! I will try the lower R ones and see if they are any better. bnrk

I can't comment on the cinnamon/citrus cracking as I don't use either...but the "positionally challenged" part is definitely fixed. I prefer to vape with my PV vertical rather than horizontal and it consistently wicks juice just fine. I agree with BuGlen though, it does wick 50/50 better. My 40/60 juice works...but there is a noticeable difference IMO.

Overall, I've been very happy with my eGo Vision V2's.

the longer wicks take forever to dry if you're just trying to give them a rinse between flavors.

Do you actually wait for them to dry? I just pat mine down with a paper towel and it takes about 10 puffs to burn enough water out to where you don't taste it. That's with a Fluxomizer, so they might have a little smaller diameter wicks, but they're long and not that small.

Or... With all these good reports, were you just trying to find some flaw to even things out a bit? :)
