Hey Guys im really new to this site and using e-cig. I currently have a EVOD and was going though the site when I saw allot of cool setups. Im really curious to know how do i know what tank will fit with what batteries and so forth. Is there a so called thread count I should look for. Plus how would I know what tank will fit my EVOD battery? I know this is probably a very newbish question, but like i said I'm very new to this and so far I really like it. Thanks for any help.

From what I've found, the EVOD has 510, also called eGo, threads. So you need to use a tank that has 510/eGo threads.

510 and ego are different. The ego threads are on the outside and the 510 threads are on the inside. TS, I think evod batts have ego and 510 connections. Most popular tanks are 510 so they should work.

Hi BegJr!

Okay, so as wonner mentioned, the EVOD battery does have both 510 and eGo threads. These are, arguably, the biggest standards in vaping equipment. Almost any type of tank you could want comes in either one or both of these threadings.

What kind of tank are you using currently? I assume an EVOD clearomizer came with your battery, and if that is true, and you like the way it works for you, then I would recommend trying the Kanger Protank 2. It will use the same replacement coils as the EVOD, hold a bit more juice, and is made of pyrex. The pyrex, in my opinion anyway, results in a truer flavor from my juices. It also has the added benefit of not cracking with stronger juices like cinnamon (which is known to crack tanks).

Of course, as always ... YMMV!

for a beginner: get an Innokin iTaste VV V3, should fit any tank you have currently. Wouldnt hurt to spring 2 bucks for an ego adapter with your next online order... what ever it may be, most online stores have them
happy vaping
=)

I completely agree with this recommendation. I have 4 of these batteries, 2 of the v2 and 2 of the v3. Get the v3, they add variable wattage to the device. One of the best places I've found to get them is here, their price is among the lowest I can find with really fast shipping and great customer service. Here's the link ... ITaste VV v3.0 by Innokin

Pro Tanks are kind of fickle. Get an Aspire BDC instead.

I've experienced the opposite. My Aspire had extremely limited airflow and consistently gave dry burnt hits, while my pro-tank has functioned fairly well the entire time that I've had it. I did get one of the earlier run Aspires though, perhaps they've come out with revisions and it's working better now.

Did the coils have 2 air holes or 4?
