As I enter the third month of my "vaping journey", I've accumulated a small stash of stuff. Four shortie KR808D-1 batteries, three long ones, dozens of cartomizers, a pack of fluxomizers, drip tips and other widgets, tools for tweaking things, and several bottles of juice. I'm considering an upgrade, and I want something with longer battery life than the batteries I've got and with bigger juice capacity than a regular 808 carto. I've narrowed it down to two well-reviewed PVs:

The iGo: The iGo

Pros
  • Two giant 1100 batteries
  • 808 compatible, all my current stuff should work with it
  • USB charger
  • $70 kit
  • Comes with two huge cartomizers
Cons
  • No VV
  • ... can't think of anything else

The Buzz Pro: Buzz Pro
Pros
  • Variable voltage, when I'm ready to start experimenting with that
  • 808 compatible
  • Uses standard batteries (if I don't like it, the batteries will work with other mods)
Cons
  • $164 with batteries and charger
  • No USB charger or free cartos included.
  • "5 day lead time"

Right now I'm leaning towards the iGo. Dunno if I'm ready for VV and spending $164 is a bit hefty. So what does the New Members Forum think? :vapor:

Wow, that's 7 "votes" for Buzz Pro and a fat zero for iGo. Looks like a pretty clear winner to me. No iGo lovers out there? :) I'll make one last case for the iGo before I am beaten: portability (with USB charger), cheaper by $94, and big cartomizers (but I guess I could just buy those and use them on the buzz). Keep in mind my goals: longer battery life, larger capacity. And I'm pretty new at this. VV is not something I feel I need, but it would be a nice thing to play with, and I'd eventually get one. I'll bow to the forum's wisdom, however.

You're making the right decision. I have the original Buzz and I should be getting my Buzz Pro tomorrow. I also have the ProVari. I use the Buzz far more than I do the ProVari. And I have a feeling once I get the Buzz Pro that is the only one I will be using period. I would love to try the darwin but I can't afford a 250 trial.

I love my IGO. Never had a leak. $50 including 4 mega carts, charger, 2 batteries, a drip tip and shipping. Fill, charge, and go all day. Personal preference, but I am extremely happy with my IGO! (Purchased at B & D Gold-BillOKC has excellent customer service and super fast shipping).
There is always the classified if your not happy.
