HELP, PLEASE:-

I am stuck at work with a flat battery and one that is going to go flat. My charger is at home, but I have a different one here.

The PV is a DSE 601 using 18350 batteries 3.7v 900mAh

The only charger I have to hand is for my home made mods which used 17330 3.7v 900mAh

Can I use this charger to sort me out till I get home?

Please help

Cheers guys (I will not be so stupid again )

If both cells are the same chemistry then it should be fine. If one cell type demands a different charge termination than the other then you may have a problem. Most li-ion types charge to 4.20V these days.

Cells labeled 17330 size are rather odd (they are basically 16340s that have been labeled by the engineer rather than the sales department)... I would want to make sure that it is a normal 3.7V cell that charges to 4.20V just to be sure. A $5 DMM would answer a lot of questions and remove many uncertainties.
