these were called a semi-mec when popular, because there is no circuitry but there are wires for the positive side
I call them momentary switch mods because that's all the electronics they have in them.

Back in those days, we just called them mods. They were the norm. Variable voltage was rare, variable wattage even rarer. Then mechs became popular in order to get around the limits in amperage due to the momentary switch.

Wow! 2009!

back then the rest of us called them semi-mecs ,the switch is full mec.the 2 wires on the positive side are the only things keeping it from being a full mec, which you could pound flat and replace without solder [some mods] and have a full mec
VV provari & VW darwin were the only reg'd mods available then,

Wow this is hilarious; no takers, but love the conversation that ensues. That throwback to 2009 w/ Grimm is like trip down memory lane. So hilarious... "So let's try this at 6 volts. This is going to be my first 6 volt vape EVER!"

Honestly didn't realize it's been that long since I started vaping. And even though Grimm is taking his first 6v vape EVER in 2009, here I am in 2018 still vaping at 14 watts on my Nautilus 2.

I wish I never would've sold my Darwin. But I digress....and thread jack. Here's a GLWS bump!

Yeah, all this nostalgia talk has me half-way considering pulling the listing and keeping it. I'll let it sit another couple of days though.

Still funny though; I should have just started a thread in the general forums titled "Remember the Silver Bullet??".
