These are definitely glass and not plastic? I'm just asking because they look a bit "frosty", don't think I've ever seen plexiglass with that kind of finish?

Not glass. Plexiglass ~ Acrylic glass, a generic term for poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) hard clear plastic, commonly known by the brand names Plexiglas, Lucite, or Perspex. (from wikipedia)
