I panicked about a year ago when VG was going up in price and was talk about scarcity and bought 2 gallons of it and PG from heartland. Should last me a good while, too. I've only begun to use it because I had some that was older already.
I dilute my nic to 50 mg/ml for working purposes so I barely use any PG for mixing. I still have my working gallon, plus I bought a liter when I bought a liter of nic recently since I need to make another working batch which I will divide up into 4 500ml bottles. They will last me about a year. So it will be at least one year before I need PG.
I kept getting this nagging feeling that there was some simple thing I wanted that wouldn't be as easy or cheap to get in a couple weeks.
It finally came to me - a short fill bottle opener! Two ordered from a US vendor.

Oh its not just that - the results of this has the potential to be really tragic.
The ANTZ never wanted to understand that Vaping was never intended for Kids, it was intended for Adults like me who wanted (and needed) to get off Tobacco.
That being said, the Kids will STILL be able to get ahold of Tobacco, like they always have.....and wait 'til someone with zero knowledge blows themselves up by accident trying to build a Mod (or do related other stuff) on the Down Low.
I agree, those Unintended Consequences can be something else.
These Parents figure that with Legislation that their World can be made Hazard - Proof when it can't even be made Hazard resistant.
It is up to THEM (and always has been) to make their Kids Hazard aware.

Out of curiosity, why would a USA vaper need that? I thought that was only a UK thing.
I got a few because it makes getting my gorrilla bottles easier to open to refill. Given my arthritis it seemed prudent.
Sound like pie-in-the-sky to me. But I hope for future vapers' sake, I''m wrong.
Besides, when I posted that same message earlier today, my concern was/is that they are wrong in that the person who signs for the package must not just be 21+ but must also be the person on the address label, with a govt-issued ID to prove it.
..... So Kangertech is voluntarily ending shipments to the US? I thought they'd be large enough for an alt. That doesn't bode well for companies like Aspire, Innokin and the rest.
What will US shops have to sell even if they do cobble together a shipping network? This keeps sounding worse every day.
BTW: smoking rates have increased to pre-2009 levels per a WSJ article a couple of months ago. They were blaming it on quarantine rather than CDC's "vaping is worse than smoking" message.

Good thing I added that extra 1L of PG when I ordered that nic from HL to get the free shipping. I got lucky.

No, they stated that DHL/FedEx/UPS are the problem, not the vape ban nor their personal decision IIRC.
Checking online it looks like everyone is out of stock on PG most are out of stock VG too.
I have been aware of the PG shortage for a bit now, I questioned Essential Depot when their prices doubled then went to sales to members only, they told me there was a hoarding issue. I am so glad I just grabbed some (BCF) they are now out of stock too, whew! I was super low.
Hopefully soon this situation will correct itself, not a great time to be a vaper. Its like a crazy game of whack-a-mole anymore.

Even recently, I was hearing 'don't worry about pg, vg and flavorings'. Guess folks were wrong about that.
I seriously wouldn't worry about PG/VG, it'll be around again eventually. Nic is your worry, without it, PG/VG doesn't really matter
Oh, I don't need anything. I was just pointing out that no one can predict what will be left available to us.
While it might be available, at what cost is the question. Glad I have lots of everything.
