Looks like it's the tracking that's backed up. Shows both still sitting in LA but one of them hit my mailbox today. It had a new label that had it coming from LA with a USPS tracking number (original number in small print). Perfectly legal as common drop-shipper practice, but in this case it threw tracking for a loop.

BTW - USPS CAN open packages. I was standing in line at the PO one day and watched them open a package that was shipped media mail but was suspiciously crunchy, so they opened it up. It was a blank VHS tape packed in what looked like dried mushrooms.

I always thought media mail was for books, CDs, and videos. Did they get caught sending drugs or were they sending dried foods? What happened next?

Got an email from Kai's Virgin Vapor. Seems their PMTA application has been accepted after 8 months. Now they move into a 3 stage process hopefully leading to approval. Of course there's no guarantee that any hardware will be approved for their juice to be vaped in.

Anyway, PACT. I hadn't seen this before. Probably been posted but here is anyway. This is just part of an article about PACT, it also includes some info about who was lobbying around it.

I didn't like Cornyn even before this bit with the PACT act, now I really dont like him! He needs to be primaried, if he even dares run again. He was just reelected in 2020, so we are stuck with him till 2026. A big fat RINO.

    An Interesting Opinion Piece.

"The USPS is still in the process of finalizing the ENDS-related exception application requirements with a focus on efficiency given that the USPS expects a tremendous volume of exception requests. However, the good news is that USPS has acknowledged that hemp and CBD products will not necessarily fall under the ENDS definition, even though some have speculated that “other substances” was intended to cover non-tobacco, non-nicotine-containing substances."

Good find! I have been saying this since the beginning of this thread.

But really, if they let these products slide then vape accessories should be excluded as well. (Wire, batteries, drip tips, cotton, etc.)

I would think that a lot of accessories could be sold as CBD vape products as long as they're labeled "Not For Use With Tobacco Products".

As well as from Sites that have made a Clean Break/New Start from Nicotine "Vaping".

It will be interesting going forward to see what happens and what will fall under drug paraphernalia as disallowed, lot of work by the other industry still to be done. I guess on the bright side it may be a while before the vape mail ban goes into effect. On the downside many vape businesses have stopped selling online already, had to close their doors, increases in shipping prices and product prices, decreased availability... a lot more to PACT Act compliance besides shipping.

Why do I have visions of going back to the early days of vaping when people looked at you like you were vaping "other substances" full circle?

Except that in many places the "other substances" are socially acceptable, whereas nicotine is not.

My two FT orders are on the slow boat from China. I have a Sourcemore order that has been marked shipped, but I don't have a tracking number. The neat thing is I got paid this week and didn't place any orders, so maybe I'm finally done.
How is sourcemore shipping speed compared to FT? I never tried them but have been curious cause they have some really low prices.

Most of the time they're faster, but don't use PayPal because they don't get they payment for like 5 days and they will delay shipping until they get they payment. This time I used the PayPal and by the time my payment cleared, my item was put of stock. It's now marked as shipped, but I still don't have a tracking number yet.

I wonder why your PayPal payment took so long to clear? I always use PayPal to pay at Sourcemore and they have it almost immediately as soon as I pay. I get a thank you for your payment email and shipping notice email within 24 hours. Even when I did an order that was a pre-order they took the payment immediately and shipped as soon as it was in stock.

To add: so far I've received my packages in about 10 days, Last order was on the 18th I received it on the 28th They say shipping is 10-15 business days.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
A long time ago I remember using the Paypal e-check option and that takes a long time, like 5-7 days to clear.

I think the e-check option is/was used if you wanted to use funds from a bank account that you didn't want to tie to your paypal account or even possibly if you didn't have a paypal account. I don't remember, it was such a long time ago, probably over 15 years, that I used the e-check option.

No, this bank account has been tied to my PayPal account, but it might have been because it was a bank account not a credit card that it took so long to clear.

Ok FT update ... They finally gave me an in-store credit for the destroyed package, that's all they offered because all items had been discontinued.
And come to find out my "lost" in the mail for 3 months package had been returned to them, reship or credit, I said reship. I highly doubt I'll ever order from them again.
