DP I really like the look, the draw and the simplicity. Flavor is ok, the coil resistance 1.95ohms as it reads is a bit too high for me though. I got some 1.6 on order. Do you know if triton mini coils work with it? I thought I read somewhere that the coil needs a pin swap from the nautilus coils. I have a comparable tank, Genoa, which uses ego1 clr coils. I got too lazy to build so I sold my nextgens and pico, and just cleaned the kayfun 5 for display

Excellent, Mack. I'm glad to hear it. You can play with the airflow screw to see if that changes the flavor experience for you too.

I believe you're correct about the Triton coils (pin swap) but I haven't tried it myself.

I love those CLR coils. I've got three Egg Rolls now and have REALLY been enjoying them, especially for a $10 tank (thanks, Kat!). It's amazing how good stuff keeps getting.

I think the Triton mini coils will work, Mack, but not the Triton regular/standard, if I'm recalling correctly. Feel free to come join the Kabuki thread and I'm sure you'll get more info from those that use the Triton coils. DPL and I do not.

I'm not familiar with the Genoa... that's a Caravela, yes? ( ) I am familiar with the CLR coils. LOVE them!!! They've become a favorite in my Egg Roll tank lately!

We'll need a pic of that gorgeous KF5 display tank, hon.
