Temco is basically it in the states. Lightning vapes just used to (probably still do) rewrap temco wire for kanthal. Kanthal is a trademarked product of sandvik corp. In sweden, And is made in the U.S. by temco. As far as I know, they are the only ones who can make it. Any kanthal you get is from them unless it's china wire.

As far as other wires, I have no clue.

You can get just about any wire you want on Amazon. I'm sure I've seen wire on eBay as well. Neither sells vape equipment, but do sell wire. So I would bet they will continue to do so. Wire isn't something that is only used in vaping.

Right. I was just curious if there is another industrial supplier of wire besides Temco in the USA.

I have a feeling that all wire that isn't branded as temco is either rebranded temco or rebranded chinese wire. That's what I'm mainly trying to get to the bottom of (that and it would just be something nice to know).

I'm not worried about wire being banned. It can never happen as long as it's not branded for vaping.
