I've been a devoted user of Bloog since researching ecigs here about a year and a half ago. I've had a great experience until a few months ago when one of my USB chargers stopped working. I'm talking about the little adaptor that you can screw a battery onto and plug into the USB port on your computer or connect to the ac adaptor that plugs in to the wall. I noticed that when it failed the plastic was visibly deformed like it had partially melted. I figured it was a fluke and threw it away and ordered a replacement. That one died after about two weeks with the same problem... It clearly overheated and visibly melted. I thought maybe it didn't like being connected to my computer's usb port, so I ordered another new one and this one I only ever connected to the wall adaptor. After a couple weeks of usage, the same thing happened again - another visibly melted usb charger!

My original USB charger lasted for about a year until it stopped charging my batteries. What the heck is going on? Is this happening to anyone else? I'm really upset now because I have no way to charge any of my batteries and I don't know if I should bother trying to replace the charger since they keep dying and it seems dangerous that they would get so hot that the plastic would melt.

I have about 5 or 6 Bloog batteries that I keep rotating through. Bloog is the only ecig that I have ever used. All my batteries are the 65mm variety except for one that is the newer fancy colored one that is sealed and the next size up (think it was a limited edition - can't remember what it was called.)

I have a few of the PCC cases but their batteries never seemed to last very long for me and rather than replacing them I've been using the usb chargers.

I sent an email to Bloog last night to see what they could do to rectify the problem but I have yet to hear back from anyone. Will leaford or someone from Bloog please help? I have the last two USB chargers that melted if you want me to send them to you for examination.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Thanks,
JF

I also have several USB chargers .. Never had Melting. I do know that if you drop them the case cracks open pretty easily. I just carefully place it back together and glue it. BTW i juice pretty heavily .... there is usually a film of juice inside the ends of my batteries .... Never had an issue of shorting out the charger.
