Hey all, since I'm still a newbie I can't post to the regular forums so I thought I'd share my ideas here.
I shamelessly stole Maddog's idea for using a tire-valve as a connector.
Here's what I used. Pics will have to wait till I've spent more time posting instead of creating
1. Tire Valve - 2pk $6.99 from Pep Boys (USA) they are brass under the chrome.
2. Cheap laser-pointer (you can get them anywhere for about $2.50)
3. Hot Glue
4. USB Cable.
Pull the guts out of the laser pointer, be careful since you'll be using the switch and the ends.
I used Maddogs tire valve idea to make the atomizer connection. To be honest, you REALLY need a drill press for drilling out the valve. I blew through quite a few trying to do it by hand, the atomizer connection end WILL break off if you're not very careful.
Wire it all up the way you would if you had a usb-mod battery, shove it all back in the tube and VIOLA you've got a USB mod for a 901 without having to kill a battery.
