USB passthrough MOD with Polymer Clay casing *My Thread for my first MOD*

I am creating this thread to show my progression of my first USB passthrough mod.

Here are pictures from my first attempt, but no vape. So I will have to attempt again, with better luck. Wish me luck!

Supplies:
1. White USB cord from an old digital camera
2. Mini SPST 1.5 - Amp Momentary Pushbutton Switch (pack of 4)
3. Size M Panel-mount Coaxial Power Jack with Switch
4. Light blue light. (This has not been attached yet)
5. Case will be made out of polymer clay

This was my first attempt of putting this together.

Apple iphone USB wall plug adapter into the wall. I took it apart and is starting again. : )

Yes! I just spent the last 4 hours working on this! Soldering is a .....! It's now 3:40, and I have to go to work in a few hours!

Next step is to build the casing. Thanks to all the awesome MODDERS on this messageboard! Sorry I don't remember the names, but if you posted any of your work, schematics, explanations, recommendations, etc., I've probably learned from you!

You don't need to meter it, it will say on it. Many of these adapters don't supply enough current to fire an atty.

listen to willyb, I have a universal ipod wall adapter and it says right on the back power output 5v/ 500ma.

Yes, a half amp won't do it. Watch your wiring, don't want to blow your USB controller.
