User Friendly Refillable Cartridges for KR808D-1??

I've had no luck on my search si I thought that I'd just ask you vets. I've got a KR880D-1 and purchased some refillable cartridges (SGS) from litcig, who I want to give a plug to for great service

The problem is the darn cartridges are incredibly hard to open for refilling. I broke the first one damaged the next.

Is there a user friendly cartridge out there? I watched some you tube videos on how to do it but still had difficultys.

Any advice?

Search for the "carto condom fill" method. Basically, it breaks down like this:

1. set the endcap ("condom") that covers the mouthpiece on a table. Drip about 15 or so drops in it.

2. gently push the cartomizer, mouth-end first, into the condom filled with e-liquid. Go slowly, and watch for juice to start coming out of the battery end. When you start to see juice coming out of that hole, or the cart is pressed all the way into the cover, stop.

3. I like to put the plug back in the battery end at this point, before turning the carto over. Take the condom off the mouth end, and dry the outside of the cartomizer.

4. At this point, I like to give the carto a good shake, like a thermometer, shaking the juice towards the battery end.

5. Take the battery end plug back out, and you shuld be good to go. Sometimes I'll gently blow through the battery end to make sure no juice is still hiding in that center hole.

Sounds like you got some glued tips also if you want to get the tips off put the tip in hot water to loosen the glue and pop it off

Thanks for all the great info guys! So I don't actually need to but blank cartridges right? It looks as though I can keep filling my originals for awhile at least. How long do they last?

Depends on a lot of factors, like how dry you vape them (that may scorch the filler, and it's hard on the heating element as well). Are you using them at High Voltage? I just fried one in 2 1/2 days using it (abusing it, really) @ 7.4 Volts. Cleaning routine/no cleaning routine, etc. etc. I've heard some claims of several months.

The premium cartomizers from V4L have a one-piece silicone cap instead of the usual plastic cap and silicone ring. They are much easier to remove (and pretty much impossible to break). Totally worth the extra $2-$3 per 5-pack over generics.
