Using a LR 306 on my eGo

Most of the time, I use a 510 cartomizer, and that works great, but I got some of the LR 306's for dripping. They also work great, but they give me absolutely no warning when the juice is running out. I'll get one draw that tastes great and all, then the next one will have a ton of vapor, but tastes like something that escaped from a chemical plant and leaves me coughing and crying. I'll get several puffs off 3-4 drops, but I never know when that awful one of going to come. I tried putting a little more juice, but of course that just floods the atty and I get no vapor. The taste is so horrific on that last puff, I just know I'm breathing in something toxic (Ok, I don't know, but it tastes like it ) If I'm dripping on the 510, I can taste when it starts to get a little dry in time to drop some more juice, but not with the 306. Is this normal? Will the taste be less toxic on the "running out of juice" puff once it's broken in a little more?

Having dripped on all the attys, 306 included. I must say you should be noticing when it requires to be filled once again. That being said, it is a juice hog and will not last as long as a normal drop 1/2-2/3 at best. The vapour production won't be there, although you may still be getting good flavour. A quality of the 306, and a downside in your case.

That's the weird thing. The "bad hit" I'm talking about always has a ton of vapor, but tastes really nasty and chemical. When I drip on the 510, I can definitely tell when it's starting to need more juice without it tasting like total garbage. I've only had my eGo about a week or so and have mostly been using the cartos, so maybe it's just not broken in. I cleaned it and all, but I'm going to try to clean it again and see if that helps.

In all honesty you haven't been dripping long enough to know when. It will come with practice and experience.

im a LR306 on an ego right now.... i get that gnarly taste too, but i rectify the situation by 1 drip every 2-3 hits... sometimes i get a hot juice bubble on my lips or tounge though... i might need to look for a longer drip tip though

After several days of pretty heavy breaking in, it finally quit getting that nasty taste so strong and so quickly. Now, it at least gives me some warning before it gets dry! I know what you mean about the hot juice on your tongue. I have been looking seriously at getting a mega atty and the tank carts. Seems like that would give the benefits of dripping with the convenience of carts, and no hot juice splattering on your tongue!

I know what you mean about the hot juice on your tongue. I have been looking seriously at getting a mega atty and the tank carts. Seems like that would give the benefits of dripping with the convenience of carts, and no hot juice splattering on your tongue!

I haven't vaped on mine long enough to break it in yet cause I still get primer taste too. But I drip on mega attys and have been having proble.s with that too. I wanna look into a juice box mod kit. But I don't wanna deal with this new ego-t system untill its a lil older and more tested

Isn't the t system basically a mega atty with one of the tank carts? I could be wrong, but I think you can just buy some empty tanks with your mega atty and have a t-system.

That might be the case. I haven't looked much into them. I've heard they are phenomenal and I've ears their garbage... so I dunno what to expectnof them... but im happy with standard cart on the 510 and mega attys as of right now... aslo dripping on my mega and 306

I find the same thing but you will get it. I find that it is very tough to flood these things, so I tend to err on the side of flooded when I drip in there. but I find it vapes fine with as much juice as it will hold until it puddles up on top without soaking in. You will notice if you push the button, the puddle dissappears. A couple of times per night I will drip a neutral juice and blow it into a towel. Yes its a waste, but it adds a lot to my pleasure.

I cannot vape anything but the 306LR, but it is convenient for me to drip, as long as I am not driving in traffic.

NO, two different atomisers. They look the same on the outside, but that is where it stops.

The Ego tank system: Ego-T atty and Ego-T cart. The atty is like a mega but has a extra piece that pokes a hole in the cart and allows the juice to drip through to the bridge and coil. It works ok. Not great in my opinion but it does work if you do it right.
