Using a Rotary Evaporator to extract vanilla beans

Hi,
Any of you guys know how to use a rotary evaporator to extract vanilla and other flavors from coconut? I have a rotary evaporator but have no experience with it. Was wondering what solvent would work best for use in eliquid. Thought about using PGA, PG, or water.
