That's awesome news
I can tell you what I do with SS (316 & 317) on RTAs & RDTAs then you can tweak to suit. I coil my 26ga on a 3/32" (2.38mm) Bit and do either 6/5 or 7/6 wrap depending on Device. Like 'em ever so slightly spaced (kinda does it good enough naturally when coiling). I also use 28ga twisted on my Squonker RDAs and do the same I.D. and wraps as above depending.
I'd say depending on how she ohms-out, decent starting point would be 28-30 Watts with a +15-20* Punch for 1-1.5 seconds. Bear in mind that SS needs and likes Higher Operational Wattage to give an efficient and pleasing Vape and it needs and does better with a nice "burst" to get it kick-started so to speak.
Also, you will find (again depending on Device and Resistance of Build and personal preference) that SS does better at higher Temps. Run my squonkers at @ 508*-535* F and other tanks at @ 480*-495* That varies obviously with gauge, I.D. and whetehr single-strand, twisted, or Alien-type Wire.

Another Variable to consider is juice type (dessert, fruit, tobacco, etc.), VG/PG mix, and even Nic level. Same as one juice may be awesome in an RTA and the exact same liquid may be bland or crappy in an RDA. So, once you find your version of proper Settings/Profile for a Device, those saved Settings may require a tad of tweaking if you change liquids. That goes for any wire obviously.

Anyways, that should give you a decent jumping-off point and I'm sure others with more experience and knowledge than I will come along to help as well.

Thank you Hitcat! Kayfun5; SS loaded at .40 ohms 2.xmm coil 6/7 wrap, 450F 28w to start with 18w ramp up. Best yet!

I have an Mod from Evolv which has a DNA200 board in it.
My problem is I can't get it unlocked so I can bypass TC and just use the Wattage or voltage settings.
I managed to turn down the temp but can't get it to do anything else so it's stuck on 55w.
I don't need or want 50+ watts! I need instructions on how to use this device.
Help!!!!!

Go to Evolv's Site and you can download the Spec Sheet/How-To. If that doesn't provide the Answer, there is also an Evolv/DNA Forum (think Link is on their Site as well) you can visit to search for Answer or join easily and ask there.
Hope that helps and points in right direction toward the solution.

P.s. What Material Wire are you using for your Coil?

To turn off temp control
1) Click 5 times to lock it.
2) Then hold the plus and minus keys at the same time for a few seconds and it will popup the temperature.
3) Now hold the plus down until it maxes out.
4) Let up on the key and tap it down once more. Now it displays OFF. That means temperature mode is now off.
5) Press the fire button five times to unlock and there you go. Adjust the wattage to your liking

To adjust watts in TC mode
Power Locked mode:Holding down both the up and down buttons for two seconds will place the device in Power Locked mode. In this mode, the mod will operate normally, but you will not be able to change the power setting. This mode prevents accidental power level changes due to the buttons being pressed while in a pocket.

To exit Power Locked mode, hold the up and down buttons for two seconds.
