Using an Intellicig Cart with a Blu

I bought an Intellicig, and have problems with it.
(The USB charger doesn't work right - they're sending me another one, and the longer battery lights up but doesn't seem to get the atty working.)

But, I found that the carts will work on my Blu!
They don't *quite* fit (the Blu atty is longer, so I can't push the cart all the way down) - but I can use them. Plus their carts hold more (about 6 drops) so there's more time between topping off.
Now the 25 extra Intellicig carts I bought won't go to waste - and my Blu works better!

Is the Intellicig similar to a M40x model?

I bought some M40x XL Carts (for the plugs) and found that I could use them with the L88B (blu/volcano) models, with a gap like you said.
