Using batteries/cartomizers across two different brands

I have a Premium 110 starter kit. From doing some basic searching, I think these are KR808D batteries but I'm not sure.

I also bought the Smokeless Image Volt Starter Kit with the 78 mm batteries, based on some recommendations here.

Here are my thoughts and what I'm trying to figure out:

1—Are the cartomizers compatible between these two batteries? They look the same and seem to fit but I would like some verification on this.

2—Having said that, I did try a Premium cartomizer on one of the Volt batteries for a couple of puffs because I did not care for the taste of the Volt cartomizers (and I tried several flavors). However, the exact same cartomizer tasted different on the Volt—not as sharp or flavorful. Why is that? If I got the 65mm Volt battery instead of the 78 mm would that make a difference in taste? (Sorry if that is an ignorant question, but I'm still pretty new at this.)

Basically I'm trying to figure out whether I can mix and match between these two brands. I am keeping the Premium 110 because I really do like the size and style of the battery and the flavor of the cartridges, but I am still deciding on the Volt. If I could use the same cartomizers for each that would make my decision easier. Plus, I can't return my Volt cartomizers anyway so it would be nice to know I could use them with the Premium without messing up the battery.

Thanks for any advice.

doesn't really matter as I see it
if your willing to get several PV 's or even APV 's the rest doesn't matter much
as those cost the most, the cartridges, cartomizer, atty 's , clearomizers and variants don't really do much difference in price imo, just something new to try

dont have a clue btw to answer your question
