Using Cotton from plant branch

I have friend who own a piece of land planted cotton , is it possible to use this cotton direct from its branch
if so should i boil the cotton or what to do . thanks for for help

we are country of cotton but there is no organic cotton packs in the market ironic

Thanks for your replay i received the cotton today and regardless to Biocide i give it a try after boiling the cotton but it was not that good it smells bad really

Does your friend spray the crap out of it with pesticides? I use some cottonman cotton that still has raw seeds you have to pick around and it is great stuff. They are marble sized seeds. It is clean and organic though. I also use some long strand cotton from him that is incredible no seeds. Still organic no bleach and def I dont have to boil or mess with it.

i guess he do pesticides and it may be depends on the seeds of the cotton he use ,and i have think is it a good idea to use cotton which in open air for long time with out any cleaning process ?
