Just curious, not sure if this was brought up anywhere else but how come one doesn't stick their atty after cleaning into a cup of rice grains to soak up the remaining liquid in the atty?

I tried cleaning my EGO-T atty with little success. I followed Vicki's method and the atty would not heat up anymore, I think I messed up during the initial portion when removing the plate? I yanked it out and the fibers came along with it. There were remaining fibers in there so I tried to remove it but it disintegrated.

I am going to try the method of just rinsing the atty and letting it dry in rice next. I also realized that the EGo-T was getting hard to pull after just a week or so of use. Perhaps the atty is dirty ?
